Pedro's Cocina, Dixon CA

My carnitas tostada meat was too fried. When I go to Pedro's you can never expect the same meal twice there's no consistency.

First off let me start by saying that it was our wedding rehearsal in downtown Dixon and we had reservations at Murillo’s but when we arrived there was a sign that said “Closed until further notice due to plumbing issues” so I had 20 very hungry people panicking! My sister in law called Pedro’s and they said they could accommodate us- they did more than accommodate us they took very good care of my very big family! Great food, decent prices for great food, wonderful customer service from all the employees, the bartender even takes his time to find the right drink for you. Thank you Pedro’s! You saved my wedding rehearsal! Forever grateful!

Authentic Mexican food! Such good food and even better prices. I love all the enchiladas and beans and also the tacos were very good. Such a great place for lunch or dinner and the service was friendly and quick. Not to mention ton you get some chips and salsa while you wait. Can’t wait to go back again!

The staff was very friendly and patient when taking our order and bringing everything out. We tried the queso fundido, carnitas plate, beef taco and enchilada plate, Pina agua fresca, and margaritas. All of the food items were delicious and we were pleasantly surprised to see it be very similar to texmex style! The Pina agua fresca was perfect and not too sweet and the margarita was strong and tasty. They also brought an extra plastic plate and plasticware for the kids to use. Overall very happy we stopped to try this place!

The Carnitas plate was the best I've eaten in years. I would definitely recommend Pedro's Cocina to anyone looking for good authentic Mexican food in this area.

Inside looks nice and is kept clean, hard working and kind staff are always helpful and the food comes out amazingly. Love taking my mom here

In California, it’s hard to find bad Mexican food. Most Mexican food is top-notch. But this cocina is a level above top-notch. Came in for breakfast and had Huevos Rancheros. Absolutely delicious with lots of flavor. Beans and rice are cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area or passing by

Really don’t understand what’s going on at this place… They are trying to do something. What I don’t know but I guess the food was okay.

Food is very good! The freshly made margaritas are honestly the best that I've had. I don't really like cucumber, but I had the cucumber margarita with tajin on the rim, and I've been craving it ever since. I highly recommend anyone reading this to go. Family friendly and great atmosphere. Pick me up on your way there

Ordered the huevos con chorizo & chillaquila plates to go. The amount of food was more than enough and very well prepared. Staff was helpful & friendly. I would definitely return here.

The food is amazing, the meat is always fresh, regardless of the type. The atmosphere can become very claustrophobic at times, as there is no privacy, and everyone eats in the same room close to each other. It would be nice to have more privacy.

Everything is good, food is delicious, restaurant is clean and nice, just need more speed on food, take a lot of time to derby the food

This is seriously great food! The Carnitas plate was amazing. Perfect combination of crusty pieces with soft and chunky pork. Fantastic rice and pick made the dish.

The decor is fun, too.

Pedro's is a go-to for our family. Our little kids LOVE breakfast burritos and are thrilled that they can order these for dinner at Pedro's. We also like that you can call in your order and it is ready relatively quickly. Can't review the whole menu, but I have yet to be disappointed by a burrito or taco here.

Huge portions of great food. Loves the art work- interesting things to look at all over the place.
