Peggy Sue's 50's Diner reviews
19Always a delight to stop at Peggy Sue's to break up the drive on the way to Vegas. Food is always good and it's fun to walk around Diner-saur park just outside the giftshop. Had a Cherry Phosphate for the first time! It was delicious!
The place is super nice super clean, but food and water are not great. Water tastes like bleach. Food is not good at all, service is great, and you can take a lot of nice pictures around rhe whole restaurant and gift shop that is connected to it.
They are SO AWESOME! They are kind, respectful, honest, helpful people! It's worth the trip and worth the money. Please Make a Trip out there. They also have an Awesome Gift Shop! Check them out you will not regret it at all!
Honestly this place grossed me out so much I couldn’t even sit in it. The table was sticky the floors were dirty the food was terrible & the waitresses outfits were insanely dirty, I was amazed they let some of them work the way they looked, you could tell it was an old restaurant & no one had updated anything in a VERY long time. The dishes they served the food on were dirty. The food was really really bad, I got a veggie burger & it tasted like dog food, I got a strawberry milkshake and it tasted like milk & not strawberry at all, my mom got fish & her fish made her very sick. Please make waitresses wash their outfits at the very least I still wanna puke thinking about how bad the restaurant was.
I love this place.first thing is u see the Dino's and they're around a well shaded duck pond and seating area. Very pleasant. Inside there is 50's nestalgia everywhere. Separate store and lots of deserts. I just got burger fries & salad and it was very good. Staff was dressed 50's and very pleasant. This is must stop place!
I'm guessing it was nice I really can't remember because I don't remember actually seeing it I know I was there and there was so many signs around but I don't think I've actually seen that stablish man but they have Great Signs big thumbs up to Peggy Sue and the signage
We had a poor experience here before years ago with cold and overall unappealing food, but we wanted to give Peggy Sue's another chance. We stopped this morning for breakfast. It was fantastic! Service was quick and our waitress was very friendly. Two of our party members ordered The Blob. Yum! The biscuits and gravy was excellent. We will stop again.
The history on the walls is fantastic. Great diner food very friendly service at restaurant and in shop.
We always stop here on our way back from Las Vegas for lunch. Always good food, as is the service and atmosphere. Good time.
Time travel experience on our way to LA.
The atmosphere is undescribable, everything is in the details. Be sure to walk around every single room before choosing your seat! Don't forget to say hi to the dinosaurs and obese ducks in the garden.
Food is good. The place is very charming, and the staff was very attentive, helpful, and nice.
Don't be frightened when you go to the women's restroom, you're in the right place
Good food and excellent service we love it, ladies don’t be scare when you get to the ladies room this is when you going to find
The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly, the food was delish, and the Wi-Fi was fast. What more do you need?
Real comfort food, and good desserts, not a place for calorie counters, but the right place for the real deal of Food.
Excellent food and value with a complete menu. Very fun and interesting decorations in the restaurant and the adjoining pizza parlor and candy/ice cream shop. Fun area outdoors with cool things too see and places to eat your meal when the weather is good
Waitress was a jem, great staff and clean dining areas. The memorabilia was endless and kept the eyes moving. The place was packed but the service was fast and the food was cooked properly and fresh.great time for all.
We've passed this place for years and decided to go on our way back from vegas (we always do barstow and we did eddie world on the way). Plan to spend 2 hrs here because the wait is long. The gift shop is cute. The dinosaur park is cute and a nice ace to eat a lunch that maybe you packed or you can stretch your legs. The prices are reasonable and the food was great. The fries were nothing special. Our waitress was on top of things.
Authentic 50s food? Bland as hell and our waitress wasn't trying very hard. It was edible, but I guess you're paying for the ambiance.
My family and I are here now. It is a really neat place to stop and see, but eating wise. NEVER AGAIN! CINDY IS THE WORST WAITRESS HERE! The busboy had to give us our drinks! It’s like she doesn’t want to wait on our table but does a good job with her “regular customers. ” I say this because I’m watching her as I write this! Unacceptable! We will NEVER come again and we live in Apple Valley and my husband is an engineer at the base across the street! We wouldn’t recommend this place. Bad unacceptable racist customer service!
