Peju Province Winery reviews
29A fantastic wine tasting experience! Claudy was extremely knowledgable and did a great job of guidit us through all of Peju's offerings. We will absolutely recommend this winery to all of our friends.
Best winery in Napa! Incredible selection, gorgeous property and amazing wines priced decently.
We were a party of seven. Everyone enjoyed Peju's extraordinary wines. Our Peju rep was so very knowledgeable about each wine and àllowed us to taste a few extras. We are thinking of making it an annual event.
Had a wonderful time at the Members Only party that we attend, it was our first as we live to far away to enjoy all that you offer. Hopefully will be back soon
Will definitely give 5 stars for the wine, which we have loved over the years (esp. Province blend). However our server's behavior made sure that we take off 3 stars from our experience. He was downright rude with one of the guests and we almost walked off from our wine tasting. I will recommend this place for buying wine but never for tasting. Hope the management pays attention to this.
Cheers!
This place is awesome! All the staff are really inviting as soon as you walk in. They really give an experience when you go in for a tasting. They took us upstairs and the curator really took us on a journey. Just the right amount of information about the wines. The grounds are outstanding and they offer the classic tasting for free for military members. Check this place out!
One of my favorite wineries. So beautiful, so many wonderful wines that range from complex and age-worthy to refreshing, young and ready to drink. The events and wine club parties are among the best in the valley and the family has owned and operated the winery for like 40 years. I believe in supporting families with history so that means a lot to me; and that they're organic. So cool.
Now this is how you drink wine! Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I were impressed with the beauty of the grounds. Paul who did our tasting was so funny! He really made the tasting memorable because we couldn’t stop laughing! We bought a bottle of fifty/fifty and look forward to drinking it. Great wine, and even better tasting with Paul. Thank you, we hope to be back soon!
We love Peju wine and the grounds, however the wine tasting experience has become more of a high pressure sales tactic. We have been dedicated Peju wine club members for some time now and one would think that there would be a special level of treatment when arriving and attending tasting like many of our other wine club memberships. Not at Peju, and once our server found our that we were Peju club members it was suggested that we should re order our next shipment using the servers name in order for him to get compensated for our tasting. Strange and uncomfortable situation when we were looking for a high quality tasting experience. Doubt that we will return again.
The grounds are beautiful. We (two people, one of each) did both the standard tasting and the upgraded tasting. I like Cabs and so we bought wine while there and then signed up for the $130 wine shipment. We were there at the end of October, but were charged $176 a week or so later at the beginning of November for the shipment. I didn't like that we felt a bit pressured during the tasting.
The retail price on the wine we received - $130.
The staff at Peju were very friendly and not pretentious at all. Scott, one of the wine Educators, was amazingly informative and his sense of humor really made the tasting a true joy to experience. I recommend their 2016 Sauvignon Blanc for a white and hands down the FiftyFifty for a red.
The winery grounds are beautiful. The wine is delicious. I would definitely go see if doing a wine tour. Try the Province!
Peju is absolutely one of my favorite wineries in Napa Valley. Their cabernet sauvignons and cabernet francs are superb!
Topical Californian style (that I'm not fan of).
Heavy, strong, full body, 16% alcohol. Overpriced wines. Nice entry level can franc, though still a bit too fruity and sweet. If you like heavy fruity wines you will like this winery.
Ok wine but very overpriced. You could get a very nice bottle for that price. The Cabernet Sauvignon which we have liked was 660, same quality as one we regurarly drink from penfolds (Australia) and it doesn’t cost more than 60 Euros.
We came to Peju Winery today and had a lovely experience. Leo did a great job and we bought some wine thank you!
Nice tasting. (Ask about Napa Neighbor if you’re local!) absolutely delicious red and white blend!
Robert was so knowledgeable, kind, and gracious. Ask for him. He is so funny and a great kistory butt of the area!
A true Napa favorite! Delicious family owned and operated winery in gorgeous Napa Valley near Rutherford Grill and St. Helena that is family friendly, well operated and has an excellent Club Membership package. This place has been my favorite since 2006.
Absolutely beautiful winery, amazing wines and phenomenal people! Ask for Paul in the tasting room. Genius!
