Penny's Pup Wash, Costa Mesa CA

Eileen is so kind and patient with my very fearful pup. Chloe always leaves looking great and I know she has been well taken care of!

Omg best experience ever loved the two ladies. Used the self wash. So easy and had access to many items. Definitely will be back and have Mary Lou do a full service. Very quaint, homey and cute.

We have been back many times and Mary Lou is the best. She loves our dog and that is most important. Please go to Penny's you won't be disappointed.

Once went to Penny's and it was wonderful experience. Cashier girl is so sweet and I don't remember her name but she's young and short dark hair. Plus Mary Lou who is always amazing we all know that. Everyone should be going here.

We were visiting Newport Beach with our GSD baby…who was enjoying the beach thoroughly…needed to get him washed for the 15 hour ride back home…Penny’s was recommended and OMG what a place! Loved everything about this place…the way it looked, the energy and the very nice and courteous staff. Our pup, Moukie, got the BEST wash and brush of his life! It’s been days after and I still can’t believe how great he looks! It’s a shame we don’t live in the area we would otherwise be regulars.

I have been taking my Goldendoodle, Pearl, to Penny’s for grooming/self-wash since she was about 1. She’s now 7. I can’t say enough good things about the convenience of having a self-wash and drying location in the Newport/Costa Mesa Area.

Penny’s has a unique charm in that it is not a “boutique” grooming spa. It’s a relaxed local neighborhood gem that attracts dog owners who are looking for the convenience of large tubs AND the ability to avoid a deep clean of their own home if they were to attempt bathing at home.

*Update:
My only concern is the last few times I’ve been, I’ve smelled mold - even from the parking lot. Not sure what that’s about, but I’m a long time customer and am here to support for the long haul. Hopefully this issue can be resolved.

Super cute place with easy to use self service dog wash. All washes are complete with towels, brushes and combs, shampoo, condition, face and ear wash, and an oatmeal cleanser. They also have blow dryers outside that is perfect for my puppy. Love the staff and all the helpful tips on washing my dog. Will be back soon!

Love Pennys pup wash. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They have great shampoos, conditioner, ear cleaner, and brushes to use on the self wash. I’ve been taking my boy there since he was 3 months old. I love that I can spend time with him and get him used to getting baths and blown out. He loves seeing all the dogs that come in and loves to say hi to the staff. I highly recommend pennys.

Our girl Layla loves Penny’s and always comes home relaxed and happy as opposed to anxious after other grooming experiences. The staff is so kind, too! Great price points for the excellent service. We will keep coming back— thank you Penny’s!

We've visited here for grooming previously but past few years for dog dental. Staff in store and dental team are fantastic. Great shop.

The best place ever! I have a broken wrist. They helped me put my dog in the high bathtub so I could bathe him! They have everything! Face wash, great towels and wonderful spirits. It's a God send for me and Mannix, of course!

Just took our husky in today for a self wash and it was a great experience. They have lots of products to use and the staff was very friendly. Will be using them again in the future.

I have always liked it here! I arrived a bit early (15 min to opening) & had a somewhat unfriendly greeting by a gal barking from a side window to me that they were not open yet, which I already knew, but she could have been Nicer, but I was waiting outside, so perhaps it was a little noisier on the inside which is why she yelled. The people here have always been very nice & helpful! Anyways, I got my dog cleaned & the other girl inside, Was Super nice & friendly! Nice place to do all the fixings for your pups!

First time being at Penny’s pup wash and we loved it:) our 5 year old pup loves it when we wash him, not strangers even though he is always calm with everyone so we decided to use self wash as our bath tub is low and gives us a horrible backache. Today experience was awesome, staffs are great and the whole thing was easy and fun. Price is great. Recommended to friends and family. Thank you:)
