Besides their overpriced services (their quote was 2x higher than at other regular car services) these ignorants are letting their 100db air compressor run all night long, on weekends, and even on Sundays. We collected the evidence and filled out the complaint already. After several visits, they do not care about that people need to sleep here.

Went in for a basic oil change and asked them to tell me what is wrong with my under engine tray that scrapes on bumps. They didn’t do this and it was worse than when I dropped it off. They also tried to sell me an air filter even though I personally replaced it last week. They left the air filter lid open. Further, they broke the plastic screws that keep the air intake at the cowel. I don’t know how or why they touched that at all and why are they didn’t even bother to try to put it back together.

This happened to a 6 year old Hyundai - a very simple car.

I’ve been going here for years. No more.

Came for a tire patch for my Honda on a Saturday. While there were no issues with the repair done; I will warn that if you drop off your car here for a tire patch, when they open, you will not get your car back almost to closing time. If you are in no rush, it is not a big deal. However, if you are; then it is best to take your business elsewhere. There are a lot of customers right when they open.

I own a BMW and changing the battery requires registration, so to program the computer that there is a new battery and alternative need to charge accordingly. This process plus the battery is charged by BMW Dealer $700 and other German repair shops ask for anything from $350 to $500.

I took it to Anthony the service advisor of Pepboys very professional. He did it for $250 out the door including battery and registration.on top of it, since they have a clean McDonald's across the street, you can just go get a frozen coke seat in the AC big room and work on your laptop so you don't even lose time compared to the other repair shops where you lose time. I have already changed my car belt, they always do the best service and best price.

I CALLED PEP BOYS IN WEST L A. ON PICO BLVD. AGAIN BECAUSE MY CAR BATTERY IS DEAD AGAIN! TODAY IS TUESDAY, MAY 10,2022, AND AGAIN PEP BOYS WILL NOT REPLACE MY CAR BATTERY THAT IS UNDER WARRANTY! YOU GUYS ARE TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE!

MY REVIEW FROM LAST WEEK:
Shame on Pep Boys and 10-year service employee Anthony for refusing to give me a new car battery despite my current faulty battery that is under warranty.

I had to get yet another battery jump today when my car wouldn't start. Then I called Pep Boys on Pico Blvd.in West Los Angeles and drove there. Employee Anthony, who proudly displays his 10 years with Pep Boys, said my car battery tests strong. I replied that of course it does; the battery was just jumped. Anthony refused to give me a new battery despite my current Pep Boys battery warranty, suggesting that I leave my car overnight and it may need a new starter. WHAT? ! If that were the case, my car wouldn't have started with a battery jump, but Anthony still refused to honor my Pep Boys warranty or believe that my car battery is weak between jumps.

In my opinion, Anthony was essentially acting like a corporate shill, protecting Pep Boys (for a sales commission?) and trying to sell me a new car starter instead of honoring my battery warranty. Even the car mechanic in the service bay agreed with me that my car doesn't need a new starter.

SHAME ON PEP BOYS & SERVICE EMPLOYEE ANTHONY!

I had a flat tire and was planning to wait till it was fixed but the guy who i gave my keys to told me there was no way that they would get to my car in the next 3-4 hours. So I walked 35 min to get home and just as I am about to open my front door, I get a call that my car is ready for pick up. I honestly would not have minded waiting 35 min. Instead I walked in the heat and ended up paying for a lyft to take me back to the store

Only does tires replacement and auto service. Store inside empty without any car parts or accessories.

Everyone at Pep Boys was great! I came in needing new windshield wipers and I had no idea what size or kind to get, nor how to install them, and they made it so east for me! They looked up the info and were able to install the wipers in no time, with no problem! I'll definitely be coming back for my car needs!

Reanna at customer service & Nery the mechanic were both wonderful! They addressed all my car concerns and were very quick and efficient. Pricing and service were both great! I will definitely go back!

This has been the worst experience I've had with a car service shop. I will never bring any of my vehicles to this place again. I purchased one of my cars through Carvana, and as a result I receive complementary maintenance at all Pepboys locations. I told "Anthony O. " this upon dropping my car off. His initial response was confusion but he stated "Ok, we will get this taken care of. ".

A few hours later, he calls to let me know that my car is ready but I would have to pay for the maintenance out of pocket because he called Carvana and they told him "My car had exceeded the mileage for complimentary service". I immediately knew this was inaccurate. Initially, I was understanding as this may not be a common way to have maintenance paid for. I called Carvana to get the details and facilitate the payment from them myself and was notified that they (Carvana) did NOT receive any call, inquiry or fax from anyone to have my maintenance covered. If they did not receive any sort of inquiry, how could they notify Anthony that I "exceeded the complimentary maintenance mileage"? This lie has led me to lose all trust in this shop. If they do not have enough integrity to simply say "I do not know, or I am unfamiliar with this process" and choose to instead lie to customers, how do I know they uphold any integrity when performing maintenance on my car? Ultimately this led me to call Pepboys back myself and give them the correct number and instructions to facilitate the payment. An easy 10-15 minute process. I will never bring my business back to this place.

I walked in with a battery issue and the staff was immediately so responsive to my problem. Reanna is the kindest and most helpful staff and really walked me through the issue until it was solved.
