Pep Boys, Lake Forest CA

I came in 2 minutes before closing with a tire issue. Service was done so no assistance was available. I asked George for my options. He offered to fill the tire up. I’m doing so, we discovered a nail. He then gave options of leaving it overnight for service on Sunday. He said it “should” be ready after morning appointments around 11 am. It’s 11: 17 as I complete this. Service in this country has gone to the dogs, but not this particular young man. He was clear with what could and couldn’t be done. That all we can ask for as a consumer. Thank you George. Terry Anderson

Amazing customer service, scheduled a few days ahead for tire replacement, but I called and they told me to just come in and get it done. No need to wait! Respectful, straightforward etc.definitely recommend to anyone in the Irvine area.

I came here yesterday to get my battery check. Fernando assisted me with no hesitation. He was very friendly and professional. I took his advice to charge my battery more and the next day I returned and brought the ailing battery to be replaced. Jorge assisted me. He too, was very friendly and professional. I am surprised how these two interact with customers even in the middle of a hectic situation they managed to stay cool. I highly recommend that you look for these two the next time you pay Pepboys Lake Forest a visit. I am sure the others are trained processionals as well. Keep up the excellent work guys!

No one gets it done like the Boys. Incredible service. From the moment I walk in the building to the moment I get my keys back, the staff at Lake Forest Pep Boys give me the upmost professionalism. They demonstrate immense knowledge and experience in the field. They are both timely and thorough in their work, and their prices are the fairest in the market. There is no problem they can’t find a solution for. There is simply no better value you can find in auto repair. I’ve never been more satisfied in getting my auto needs met than here at Lake Forest Pep Boys.

Service is great but the computer system sucks. If you buy/install tires at one Pep Boys location and tried to do service on another location. The computer system cannot track it and you MUST show physical paper works. That's quite a pain. Lesson learned for me.

We’ve used this location multiple times. No upselling, no dramatics. They fix what needs to be fixed and prices are pretty standard/reasonable. Best to drop off, and to pre-schedule appointments as they are usually very busy.

My daughter went for a simple oil change/tire rotation. She reminded the technician about the tire rotation and was told it was done. It was not! The next day I saw a puddle of oil on the driveway, both the oil filter and plug were leaking. I was able to tighten the filter but they did not replace the seal on the plug. It's been 2 weeks since the oil change and I already had to add 1Qt of oil. Now I have to take it back to another shop to do a proper oil change. This was one of the worst jobs I ever saw. If you can not do an oil change, you have no business working on people's cars.

I've been going to this location for the past year and will continue to do so! From oil changes, brake replacements, to TPMS sensor replacements, the team here has taken great care of my car. I know I can always count on Jorge, Dominic, and the crew!

Dominic, Jorge, and the service team always does a fantastic job with their service. I took advantage of Cooper’s buy 2 and get 2 free on two of my trucks. They enabled me to have both done on the same day. I have been brining all my vehicles to them for years.

My recent visit at the same location I was able to get a next day appointment for brake service & didn’t want to wait. Andrew in the Service Dept.provided Lyft to & from.
