On Thursday June 25,2020 around 2: 23 I called to inquire on a price for a couple of parts for my car. The young lady that answered gave me a price I thanked her and then I called my mechanic that lives near by since I live an hour away. Then I called back Monday June 28 and I spoke to another young man who had excellent customer service and he gavr me a different price and he ordered one of my my parts. However I couldn’t pay over the phone so I called my mechanic so he can pick it up. I called Pep boys again and Baltazar another young man with great customer service explained to me that the part for my car was there but it seemed to be the wrong part. So he said he had to order the right one. By now the price had gone up 3 times. Finally my sister in law ends up going to pay for the part and the manager helped her. My sister in law face timed me because apparently the manager asked them to wait because it was only 2 of them. I was politely explaining to the manger what had happened but she kept explaining to me about why the prices changed. She said it wasn’t her fault because she had no idea what was happening so that she couldn’t give a yes or no answer. She apologized but I was trying to explain that it was frustrating because she also mentioned that the prices varied Day by day and I called back 3 days later. I explained to her that it was a big price range from 32 dollars to 110 to finally 132. I told her I was very patient but I was uneasy because I thought I was calling a place I can rely on giving me the right parts and prices and 2 out of the 3 times they were suggesting the wrong parts. However she kept giving me excuses and making it seemed like this is how it is and that’s it. Basically do I want the part or not. As a manager she should of been more understanding instead of giving me multiple excuses. She should of said something like I’m sorry and I will talk to my employees about communicating with me when they are in doubt.
I ended up buying the parts because my sister in law was already there.

I guess they only acknowledge you if you’re a male. Wasted 5 minutes waiting to be attended, finally decided to walkout after all three men at the register failed to provide any type of customer service.

Don't buy tires here! Way over price. I bought the same tires for $200 cheaper, yes $200 cheaper at walmart. I went in to price match. The pep boys website clearly states that they will pricematch any competitor. The guy Rick at the front desk told me that they don't price match and he doesn't know what I'm talking about. $200 cheaper!

Don’t come here it’s 6: 13 and they won’t do a 20 minute oil change. No consideration for the working class.

Great people, clean store, great selection. Staff is very helpful. Had my battery replaced. Wait period was very little.

Went in 35 minutes before closing to purchase tires. With smiles they stayed late to get it done. Thank you.

Great experience! Great prices! Friendly staff! Marco was extremely helpful and informative. And the mechanic Mario, completed the service within a reasonable amount of time. He's ASE Certified and is proud to wear the badge on his shirt. Would definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here if you want it done RIGHT!

Well what a waste of my time! I called to see if I can bring in my car earlier and they said yes! But he never mentioned that it would still be serviced until my appointment! I would’ve just waited till 2 to get here!

Needed a tire but they didn't have it in stock or could not get it until tomorrow. Went around the corner and they had the tire for me in a hour.

They have a great staff here they always try to save you a buck and make sure everything's good the parts are right

Employees seem to always be laughing amongst themselves which seems bad in front of customers who are waiting to be helped. I personally don't mind it too much but I'm putting myself in the shoes of other people.

This Pep Boys offers fast and friendly service. I feel like a regular at the store, despite only going there a few time a year.

Pepboys El Monte Service center is the best service center in Southern CA! They have a very knowledgeble staff with great personality. They are very honest and real straight forward with any issues your car might have. I have my personal use vehicles and company fleet go to only this PepBoys location. You can acutally trust the mechanics!

I love the pepboys off rosemead blvd. They take really goid care of my car super friendly staff. Alex is one of my favorite staff members there. He alawys very helpful and try to find out the best price to fit my cars needs.

After waiting at the service counter for over 5 minutes I had to go to the front register and request assistance, Although I could hear the giggling and laughter of young ladies in the back Room (instead of assisting Customers). Needless to say they didn't have the part that I needed, but the young man that assisted me recommended how to go about finding the part I did I need it.

The service department is HORRIBLE. They don't call you when they're done, you have to be calling them. They have taken twice as long on both occasions for my repairs.

Went in for brakes. Good customer service. Gilbert was very helpful.
I had a coupon for brakes, plus they gave me another coupon on top of that.
I left feeling good with the service.
