Was very pleased that Travis and the mechanics at Pep Boys on Orangeburg and Mchenry were able to complete the alignment on my truck that Firestone was unable to do without trying to sell me tie rods for an additional cost of 400 dollars. I came in without an appointment at about 9 am on a Friday. I was told they were booked up for the day, but would squeeze it in. Not three hours later, I got a call that my alignment was completed and that nothing needed to be replaced. In these uncertain times, I very much appreciate honest work with an effort at saving the customer money.

I used their website purchase rims specified for my vehicle. The rims did not fit on my stock rotors. I called the Merced pep boys and they said they would call me back which they never did. I went to the Merced Pep Boys and they gave me poor customer service as well. The person at the desk basically told me that they do not accept online returns despite the fact that their website says otherwise. They told me I had to go to Modesto (which is a 1 hour drive from where I live) to do the return. I then proceeded to call the Modesto Pep Boys. They told me that they do accept returns but that there's a 20 percent restocking fee on a rim return. On top of the fact that the shipping cost is not returned either. At the end of the day I have become very frustrated and dissatisfied with Pep Boys.

Besides the fact that they go against a phone quote by $300 higher. The store needs refreshed. It's worn out looking. Floors need replacing. My male friend called for me to get a quote to replace 2 struts & was told it would cost $500.xx & that included an alignment. But when I went to the store to make the appt to have the work done suddenly it now became $800+ to do the work. Wow! Taking advantage of a woman. I doubt you'll get my business.ever.

I went in to get some parts for my old truck and the people there were very helpful. Friendly people working there, especially the little one with the gorgeous smile up front. I'll be getting my parts there from noe on.

I called and they told me to bring my car in to fix a flat then said on arrival they were busy and would have to keep my car overnight. I went elsewhere.

This place ripped me off for over $200. I bought a prepaid oil service package and when it was only half used they claimed i had used all of it in other pep boys locations. Refused to research where or when.

Made an appointment. They were quick and professional. Got the "Labor Only" oil change and brought my own oil and filter. $22 is hard to beat.

This place is awesome, I have worked at Grand auto, chief auto, auto zone, and Napa over the years, I really like the customer service, all the beautiful young women are very knowledgeable, the cashier think Pamela? Very Friendly, past couple weeks almost every day for something even tire repair, this place has my five stars and then some keep up the great work. ️

That Pep Boy's is the worst. They tear up lots of things to force you to pay them to fix it. And then if there's a problem with their brand new parts they will not stand behind it.
I will never ever buy anything from Pep Boy's or especially ask them to fix nothing on my cars ever again.

Flippe is the rude person ever. I stopped by for an inspection. He asked me to wait for 20 minutes and I waited for 1 hour and 20 minuets. After that long wait I asked him if it is now my turn and he says it takes a little while. He waisted my time for nothing even he didn’t apologize for that. I would never come to this place and see his face.

Bought a can of engine degreaser just now wont spray so off to pep boys I go to get another one more money on gas

These guys were pretty great. I managed to get a huge bolt stuck in my tire. I was thinking I was going to need to fork our around $100 for a new tire. Nope! They were able to plug it for $25! Good experience there.

Good prices for great tires. Services was a lil sketchy, not sure if the person who was at the counter new qhat je qas talkung about, but manager was great.

Been coming here since I had my first car in 1986. This visit was no different. They still have the hometown service. Something in lacking these days! I was greeted upon entering and a very nice lady at the parts counter looked up my size of wipers and came and found them for me too, followed by a professional courteous checkout. Your efforts did not go unnoticed. Great job Manny, Moe & Jack (ie) lol

They just want your money. Wouldn't even talk to me about it, until I paid the $89 for the estimate.

I was impressed with the amount of services that they offer. Everyone seems very knowledgeable and friendly.

They tried selling me a new tire when I didn't need one! The tire in question is a two-month-old primewell Tire brand new I caught a nail in it they patched it but they said I need a new tire

Omg omg extremely expensive this service place more than chevy dealer. O man today I asked to change my fuel pump mechanic said it's all together $937 after I asked this place. I go to chevy dealership they told me all together $556 now u guys who want to repair something on pep boys service places think about ur money?

Started off rough. Went to buy some tires and the counter person got mad because I was only buying two. Than tried to force me to get an alignment that was as much as both tires. Told me it was going to take an hour but end up taking 2 and a half. When I went ask him what was taking so long he walked away and went to lunch. Thank god the manager came in and was totally perfessional and took care of us. I would have given five stars if not for earlier incident.

Don’t know why people come here. I went and saw overpriced products. Had to walk out. Found exact same product elsewhere for 40% off.
