Pepe's, Fullerton CA

Perfection, a real treat for the refined palates of the Mexican food connoisseur. I had to verify for myself why people were willing to wait in a godawful drive up line. Every review said it was worth the wait. So I streamed the news and waited. Well worth the wait! They lived up to the hype. They've been doing it right since 1962 apparently. I'm definitely returning. I had bean and cheese burrito, asada plate, enchiladas. My family had tacos rice, pico, guac, quesadillas. Superb for such a small place. Friendly, adept staff. Respectful greeting. No "hurry up and order! " Instead, Pepe's is super organized for high volume service. Can't wait to go back. Thanks to the great workers.

Love this place! It was my first time and I’m definitely going back. The food was amazing, they are very generous with the meat, customer service was amazing, and all the people working there were very nice, I was very impressed. Definitely recommend it

The drive through wait is short and managed well even when the line is out to the street! They are proactive and efficient. Love the staff here and I make it a weekly visit because they are so pleasant and professional. Not to mention the food is DELICIOUS!

I saw the long line of cars in the drive thru and I had to see what was going on. I ordered a California Burrito. WOW! It was huge. I have large hands as a reference. It lasted me for an early lunch, later snack, and breakfast the next day. Definitely a great place to eat and I will be back the next time I am in town.

I love Pepes. Especially their breakfast burrito. However, this one, for some reason, gave us stomach aches one day. It wasn't our first time eating at this one but the breakfast burritos we had tasted funny and then later on we got sick. But usually its good so idk.

Bad customer service, specifically from an employee named Connie. She got my order wrong and then tried telling me I ordered it incorrectly. When I tried explaining the logic behind how she repeated my order, thinking she understood I wanted asada and guac on the side. She simply said well we don’t take orders like that, when I have ordered from Pepe’s more than a handful of times asking for sides instead of directly on the food. At the end of it, she refused to correct my order. Please retrain this employee as even the cashier felt I was in the right.

I love this place! Delicious Mexican food. Generous portions of food and always greeted with positive, friendly staff. Expect a wait because they are Delicious and popular but other than that no complaints. Multiple locations so would recommend to look up other locations for same quality and flavor!

Come for the breakfast burritos, come back for the breakfast burritos. Over and over and over again. Did I mention that they have amazing breakfast burritos. The breakfast burritos are as big as my head. And I have a big head.

Hate it. Got a carnitas burrito here. You'll get more beans and rice than the little piece of meat you'll get. Try Taqueria de Anda instead. Way better.

I’ve been coming to this location since the 90s and seems like it’s changing a little bit just recently so the food still seems consistent but I’m starting to wonder how much it’s changing I know the remodeling the interior yeah looks like all new faces so time will tell will see what happens

So much meat in their tacos! And its seasoned and cooked perfectly! Yumm! My boyfriend took me here and it was a wonderful surprise! Same menu as every other mexican restaurant like this so its simple but man their tacos have enough meat to fill like 10 tacos from Del taco! Great quality too! Meat was all cooked right, and shredded evenly. It was really good.

Let's be real, breakfast burritos are amazing! Definitely there's a difference in the size. Not too long ago one burrito would be my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Looks like they make them smaller now but it's still worth it. I would say they only thing I dislike is how little hot salsa they give you. I mean if I'm getting three burritos give me enough salsa guys! Even if you ask for extra they only throw in one more. I live in riverside county now and still make the drive out there every now and then for their breakfast burritos.

The best burritos ever. Yuge. You're gonna love it. They'll make them very quickly. You're gonna get sick of winning by eating here.

Pepe's is easily one of the best spots for good Mexican food in Fullerton not only is the food amazing the portions are huge and I eat allot so when i say HUGE portions i mean it and the staff is always friendly would recommend 10/10 times i even have friends in Huntington beach who have been there before and make the drive regularly to eat there

I know that there's different owners to this Pepes. This one is ok. They don't carry that Avocado Salsa. Horchata wasn't that good. Portion size is great. I got the Cali Burrito with Asada (It was so so) and a Hard Taco (it was better than the burrito) the one in Baldwin Park has been the best so far.

This is my go to for Nacos, Tacos & the Carne Asada plate, oh & the breakfast burritos.all YUMMY! The meat is always seasoned just right and great tasting. I love the fact that they're not stingey when it comes to plating up & fling up.

I enjoy eating here at Pepe's when I'm in the area. The taquito plate is delicious! And so is the burrito. The guacamole is to die for. It's thick and chucky. Yummy! The Service there is great and family friendly. Enjoy!

Best breakfast burritos. First time back in 11 years due to living in Sacramento area now. Same great quality and good prices.
