Per Diem - Financial District reviews
17Service was really excellent - bartender went above and beyond for us to recreate a custom drink.
Great service and ambiance, but daaaamn was my chicken sandwich boring. 20 bucks and it was absolutely flavorless… I had a better chicken sandwich from KFC a couple days ago. Yikes. My partner ordered the eggplant sandwich and had the same experience. Also the coffee sucks real bad don’t order it.
Kind of a work happy hour spot downstairs, but ate dinner upstairs. Food was a hit. It was a little noisy due to the happy hour vibe but still enjoyed it. Highly recommend that fig flatbread
Food took an hour to be prepared, but then the order missed some items and burgers came raw.
Loved the place, great food too. Service could be better though. I've never felt so pressured to leave by the waiter, I didn't even finish my glass of wine.
Great place to eat for business or pleasure. Wonderful light dishes for everyone. Nice wine and great service.
Not good for vegetarians, although mainly due to the service on a large booking. Slow to clear plates and glasses, overall not very attentive.
Nice atmosphere. Good service. Good food. Nothing was particularly outstanding or a must-have. Just solid good food at reasonable prices. I'd go back if I was in the area. The only thing I didn't really care for by the way was the popcorn panna cotta. It was really more savory than sweet.
What an unfortunate experience. I will first caveat that the food was edible and our waiter, excellent. I was part of a party of 4 who spent over 100$ per person. About thirty seconds after receiving our last round of drinks - with a dessert that had just arrived to the table, a restaurant employee told us they had a party waiting for our table and we needed to pay our check and leave. Mind you - our drinks were full to the brim as they had just arrived at the table. Though taken aback, we did our best to politely inform her that we had just received our drinks so this wasn’t an appropriate time to be practically kicking us out. Within minutes, a second employee came up to the table and asked if we could at the very least move elsewhere - at this point we were rushing to finish our drinks so we could leave as the experience was ruined. After both occurrences, our waiter apologized and asked us to take our time. At no point when ordering drinks or dessert were we told people were waiting or we should try to hurry along. It felt a bit like a scam to be served full drinks and then immediately be made to feel guilty for being there. Disclaimer: we were seated upstairs so we were unaware people were waiting. There are better restaurants that will take accountability for their overbooking vs put it on customers and perhaps be a bit more polite to some high paying patrons.
The food is always good here and the service is top notch too. They have a great menu selection and their prices are pretty reasonable too.
Cool little pub with happy hour for food and drinks 3-6pm I think. Had my first Moscow Mule here, so good I had a second, $12 each. Great spot for a few solo drinks or with some colleagues.
Good vibe with mid-century + industrial design. The paired wine goes so well with the menu.
My date and I enjoyed the squid ink pasta with seafood and the encrusted pan seared salmon with couscous. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Service was just the right amount of attentiveness and we had a nice table where we could have a conversation without yelling. Also felt Covid-safe with the well spaced tables and high ceilings.
The sparkling rose was not delicious at all so our server kindly exchanged for a delightful Pinot noir which paired very nicely with our selected dishes.
Great ambiance, great drinks. The food was alright, just not that memorable. Also, I wish the portion of the squid ink pasta was larger. It only came with 3 small, overcooked shrimps. For those prices, I should have received either more protein or more pasta. The Mac and cheese was overcooked too.
Called to make a reservation since the time we wanted wasn't available on Opentable. They accommodated us. Everything we ordered was really good and I especially liked the burrata toast. The braised short rib I got was tender and flavorful.
Great entrees, ambience, and service. Had the wild mushroom pasta and the roasted chicken - both were delicious and very reasonably priced.
Love the name for the area.
A group of us came last Friday for dinner, the food was SOO good. They had some lobster fries and pasta, everything they served was beyond amazing. Next time I'm in town I will come back here.
