During the month of January, I had the opportunity to intern with Leslie and Luis Peraza. I appreciate the chance to be able to attend the Pacific Southwest Association meetings every Wednesday. It was a special meeting with all the other agents in the area because I was able to hear their perspective on the current real estate market. I had no idea events like this were put together for agents to meet up and discuss the housing market. My favorite memory of the internship was attending the Broker's Open. Peraza’s work hard and I am honored to be a part of their team as an intern. The atmosphere there was incredible. Interning with the Peraza’s was an eye-opening experience. It helped me understand what I want to do later in life. It was good to see the behind-the-scenes and what it takes to be a real estate agent. It’s good to take a look into what you want to do so you don’t go all out and realize you don’t like it. It showed the hard work it takes but also the fun you could have and the people you could meet. You attend association meetings and meet with lenders and financial advisers to learn about your future and what’s to come and how to set up to be successful.
