Perry's Cafe reviews
14Had the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito with refried beans. Not greasy at all so don't worry about that. And the best part is that it hasn't made me go to the bathroom yet (U know what I mean) definitely a good choice to get of the menu
We were seated quickly and served immediately. My friends got waffles, I opted for the chorizo and eggs with corn tortillas. It.was… amazing! Highly recommend it!
Friendly, clean and quick. Nice staff and good atmosphere. It's a nice experience and different. They are open until 1pm. It's a breakfast place. I tried the 'huevos rancheros' with the eggs cooked over easy. The meal altogether was executed to fine precision. The eggs were cooked beautifully, artistically you could say. I would have liked maybe some meat on there but regardless good and next time I'll order something else to try. Excited about that will update in the future.
“Best breakfast in town”? Says who? Someone who has either really low standards, or never goes out to eat at any other places. The only redeeming quality of this place was the service. Floors were sticky, walls and other surfaces were dingy and dusty, lighting was awful, mismatched, and created a cold atmosphere. Interior needs to be updated, or at the very least given a proper cleaning. Food definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Off the top of my head I can think of at least half a dozen restaurants that actually DO have the best breakfast in town. This ain’t it.
They have a sign out front that says best breakfast in town.and it is hard to disagree with that. I have been there twice with my wife and friends. We order different food and split the orders so we can all try something and everything was so good. My personal favorite is the corn beef and hash. My wife the biscuit and gravy. Highly recommend this cafe.
Food and service was amazing. Our waitress was super kind and patient with us even though it was a packed restaurant.
Hostess at entry great.
Server great but didn't offer to refill coffee since we waited a bit for our food, love to enjoy my coffee with my breakfast, a few other tables were offer more and waited less
But she was nice again when she brought our check
Great place near Hotel Ave in San Diego. Food and Service was excellent. Will be back next time in town.
I love coming here! Makes me feel like I'm home in Chicago. Just waiting for it to snow. That what my mom says.
1st time there after living in San Diego 30+ yrs. Food was great. You get a NICE plate for the price. I enjoyed the biscuits & gravy. This will definitely be my new secret spot. Yummy!
A place that offers breakfast and lunch, typical American. The breakfasts in particular are delicious and if you get the person who served us, it is simply a very good experience. It is advisable to arrive early, because it fills up very quickly in the morning.
Family of four ate breakfast here for the first time. Our server was amazing, and the food was hot and fast! It was very great experience
A friend had been telling me for years that it was a great place for breakfast. He was right.
The breakfast here is delicious, like a homemade meal without all the work. My favorite aland go to is a fritata, but their pancakes are fluffy and so yummy too. The staff are friendly and provide great service.
