Perry's on Union reviews
18Walkways good for a drink and a decent burger. Popular with locals and tourists alike. Good Irish Coffees.
If I could give -10 I would definitely give it to this place. Staff is terrible and rude. If you like wasting your time by waiting for the order and be treated like a miserable creature this place is for you
Perry's is always a Great San Francisco Experience! And if you are a native, we have lost most. Sunday Brunch, is a Big Thumbs Up!
I ordered something that wasn't on the menu and the lady who served me was so lovely to do me the favour. Gorgeous people and amazing cosy Cafe vibe. Food was spectacular.
Very caring service.
The fried calamari is very crispy, but would have been better if they could out it on kitchen paper to remove the excessive oil before serving.
The burger is also very delicious, although it was not cooked “well done” as required.
Salad is ok, but the pine nut in it is not fresh. I had to spit it out.
Very nice! Staff is super friendly. Drinks and food are very good. The atmosphere is nice with lots of local and returning guests.
I have had alot of Hamburgers in the city. But Perry's remains the BEST! They have the greatest service and ambience inside and outside! Great portions of delicious food!
It’s nice service here, pleasure to see that place is always busy, good for you guys! But honestly I don’t feel high quality ingredients at all, but big serving sizes and very welcoming staff worth a lot of respect.
I had a terrible experience today at the restaurant. I drove up to the restaurant and saw a waiter. I asked her if she could bring me my order to my car. She said yes and I continued to wait. It was about 45 minutes of waiting that I made eye contact with her. Being disabled I was losing patience because I was not feeling well. She finally said in a very mean tone that my order was waiting for me. I asked her why she didn't tell me that. She said whatever, like I was some kind of dirt or something. I have been coming to Perry's for over 30 years. Never have I been treated like that. I called Sherry the night manager and she gave me very little in the way of sympathy. I have to say GOODBYE PERRY's.
This June I was in San Francisco for The Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon. I was in a funky hotel a few blocks from Union Street and stumbled upon Perry's. I ate 90% of my meals there. It was perfect. Jose, Bobby and Eddy were great. Hope to see you all next year!
Food simple and delicious, good ambience and service, as prices fair for what for you get.
Will go back without any doubt
Like stepping into a time machine of San Francisco's past. An all American menu with a delightful wait staff (Ask for Emily!). Fantastic local beer selection. Burger Tuesdays can't be beat. Relax and take in the sunshine.
Best fries in this size I've ever had. It's wonderfully soft on the inside and perfectly crispy on ever area on the outside. Delicious! Artichokes were a little difficult to eat but yummy. That aioli was unique with the essence of lemon zest. Red onion strings were difficult to eat but delicious as well. Mac in cheese had very little pasta macaroni but the fries were fries were good for dipping into the pool of oozy gooey cheese.
Good spot that never disappoints. It's a great spot for casual dining, hanging out with friends or by yourself at the bar. The staff is always pleasant and the drinks are good.
Really good food and wine, not extravagantly fancy but great quality. Sat out side very comfortably because of COVID. Service is attentive and made me feel safe
No one enthusiastically enjoyed our food. It was very mediocre, but the servers were very nice servers. The onion strings were good!
There food in good for what they offer and the service is spot on. I grew up going to Perry’s at least twice a month.
Once I was of drinking age, I’d meet friends there for cocktails and watch sporting events. I’m in my 50’s and eat there once a month.
I would give it 5 stars but they have not updated the place and it looks it.
I have always enjoyed Perry’s but I went last night and the service was a 0/10. Absolutely terrible. Once I got seated it took 10 minutes to even get water then after ordering a simple soda it took another 15 minutes before I received it, then once the soda & water was empty no one ever came by to refill it I had to go up and ask for refills. Which then I never received the refill and had to ask someone else to bring me it, then I asked for a straw and they had no straws. Then once our food was delivered they never once came around and asked how things were or if we needed anything they just never came by our table of 2. We then had to go up and ask for our check and for boxes because they did not tend to us at all. Absolutely horrible experience I will never go back.
