Pershing Square reviews
16 Very crowded for summer concerts. Unorganized and borderline dangerous crowding. Not enough toilets or water. Aslo, everyone was herded to a single exit piont that was in danger of a stampede. Los Angeles police did not care since it was "not thier" event.
These concerts were better organized in the past, pre covid times.
Not many trees or shades in the hot day.
This Square is perfectly located in the center of the fun and historical, safe area of the downtown LA. Parking is right under the square, so it is convenient to come and go. Plus, there are many bus stops and train stations around here, so you don't need to walk long.
The square has a lot of status, many sitting areas, and kids play ground, so you can bring your families here.
However, this big square or park, has no running water for people to wash their hands. There are no public restrooms, so you will not be able to stay long. Plus, there are very few trees, so it is pretty hot in the summer time, or just in a hot day.
There are a lot of tall and beautiful buildings around this Square, so you will be able to enjoy the gorgeous view in the background.
Not enough seating. Eventbrite wouldn't allow blankets or chairs for the concert. Sitting on cement steps, dividers are very uncomfortable
In the heart of the city with out of date elevators and so many different security uniforms. You have imposters posing as security, guards, at union station and the entire train routes.
Safety endangerment and I am notifying the better business bureau and looking to sue people claiming to be metro train and bus personel. There are insurance and licenses that are to be publicly displayed.

There is no metro services.

FRAUD.
The music was so bad this weekend! Thanks to the promoters for ruining the holiday weekend for all of us that live here and had to be forced to listen. Happy 4th of July! The bands were great, the djs booked were the absolute worst
Attended a Doggie Day event with my dog Shamus. He was a bit startled, scared of Sooo much dogs. But he was ok as I walked arnd
I really enjoy going to that park and just relax for a while good atmosphere for the most part but there none smoking lol! I recommend it to turest
I recently had the pleasure of attending a 4-hour event, DTLA Dog Days, on behalf of Bailey's CBD for pets at Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles. As a representative of my company, I was delighted by the overall experience and wanted to share my positive impressions.
First and foremost, the security measures put in place during the event were commendable. The presence of security personnel helped create a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees, including families. I felt reassured throughout the event, and it contributed to a sense of comfort and peace of mind.
One aspect that stood out to me was the limited presence of homelessness in the area. It was refreshing and pleasant to see a public space that was well-maintained and free from excessive homelessness. This added to the overall positive atmosphere and made the event more enjoyable for everyone present.
Pershing Square itself is a national landmark and a true gem in downtown Los Angeles. Its beauty, historical significance, and well-maintained surroundings make it a must-visit destination, particularly for those visiting from out of town. The square attracts a diverse crowd, and during my visit, I witnessed many people enjoying the park with their beloved pets. It's heartwarming to see the bond between pet owners and their furry friends being celebrated in such a vibrant setting.
While it's always important to exercise caution and be aware of one's surroundings, my experience at Pershing Square left me with a positive impression. It's a place where locals and visitors alike can come together, enjoy the ambiance, and appreciate the rich history of the city. I highly recommend a visit to Pershing Square when exploring downtown Los Angeles.
Thank you, Pershing Square, for providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for events like ours and for being a valuable asset to the community.
I was there fire Cinco de Mayo event. I purchased water and coffee and food in the event and had to go to the car and the unfriendly security guards didn’t let me bring it back because it was “outside food” how idiotic is that? Also the food there was expensive so make sure to ask prices before buying or eat outside (much better selection of restaurants around). $30 for a pastor quesadilla with little meat and cheese and a tiny salsa cup? Other than that music was nice.
It was more so than I thought. It's close to Grand Central Market, so it's worth going there for a while, but unfortunately it was a bit smelly and dirty.
Cool place, clean and people sale stuff like weed, cigs, shots of booze and other stuff. Easy to score whatever you like. Also some attractive woman an men if you want a date. Wink wink.
Little square and area of grass surrounded by tall buildings. This place is a little area for taking a breath away from crowds.
It's good, pretty dirty the play ground is cool but having homeless around can be a little off setting but it's nice to walk around
Ice skating during Dec. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s small so don’t expect a regular size rink. But oh so beautiful looking up at the buildings. Underground parking was $9 flat rate for evening. Places to eat within walking distance.
The homeless situation and the amount of drug us that goes on in and out of this and other Metro stations kill the good vibe
There is more that Pershing Square could give or offer to the new developed community than just homeless all around for the he joy, peace and tranquility to the neighbors.
