Emergency service? ! Yeah right. You can call this place to your heart's content and nobody answers. Absolutely horrible customer service.

We took my puppy in who was incredibly sick and thankfully they immediately took him back and created a critical care plan. The plan was to start from $1,700-2,600 for 24 hours, and within 12 hours they had used up the $2,600 and wanted another $1,600+ for the following 12. I had talked to the vet about the condition of him and she refused to euthanize and responded with that she was “already attached” to him, and talked down to me when I asked for euthanasia, which was extremely unprofessional. By then he was doing a bit better, but was going to need thousands of dollars more of treatment to even keep him alive, so we agreed on another $1,600+ because she felt “optimistic”. Another 10 hours later they wanted another $1,000, which we agreed upon because she pressed that he was getting better, and finally upon the last $1,000 later a vet that chose to be honest about his condition told me that he likely wouldn’t survive without thousand dollars more of treatment. The vet that originally was handling him chose her emotions over the reality of his condition, and shamed me for bringing up euthanizing him. $4,700 later we had to put him down. I appreciate the staff for giving him the utmost care, but I was shamed and given dishonesty by one of the vets who pressed us to spend that other $2,000+. Their focus is money! Please avoid if possible. I’m thankful for the vet who ultimately made the right choice and was honest with us about his condition and odds.

Second time 8n past 4 years we have used this office. Poor communication from rude staff except when receiving payment. Extremely long waits without any updates on our pet.

Our puppy went into Severe Anaphylactic shock yesterday after getting a bee sting from our backyard. Dr. Cody and the staff tended to her right away! My husband and I called a lot to check on her and they were always helpful in giving us answers about what was going on and how our little girl was doing. When our pup came home, she seemed well taken care of and like she received a lot of love and attention while there. We were so scared because our puppy had gone unresponsive, but they took great care of her and she's alive and happy playing right as I am typing this! Thank you Dr. Cody and staff for taking care of our little pup!

If you like being taken advantage of this is your vet. Charged my father $180 to rewrap his bull terriers leg after surgery to repair a bad break. Took her to my vet and charged $40 for the same exact procedure including office visit.

My dog was attacked today.and was in very critical condition by the time I brought him to the clinic. As I held him in my arms I did an assessment of his Injuries and could immediately feel displaced ribs and a broken spine. I immediately told them that, but I felt kind of brushed off.

When I got to the clinic he was quickly taken to the back, although I feel as if that could have occurred a little faster.

They then gave me a spiel about whether or not I would want him revived and assessed for his injuries: this is the part that confuses me. If I am going to a 24 hour emergency vet clinic, clearly I want you to immediately assess my dog and keep him alive. It seemed almost as if they wouldn’t revive him unless I had agreed to sign the paper first (which had a disclusure cost of a minimum of $500). I understand that my dog’s injuries were severe and that it was too late, but I think the priorities were a little off. I believe that’s something that needs to be addressed. If a client brings in a pet, and you have the capacity to immediately care for them, treat it exactly as any emergency room would. Worry about the costs and paperwork after you have already tried to save my pet.

I will say to that on a positive note, they were very kind and compassionate. As soon as I gave my dog to the vet tech she immediately called for a doctor, and they very quickly looked him over (however still did not immediately perform emergency procedures until AFTER asking me to sign their paperwork). They let us in to the back to say good bye before he passed.i saw how hard they worked to help him.it was a sad but beautiful sight. I have to thank everyone that was trying, but i can’t give a perfect rating when there were some things that could be improved. Oh and the prices of course were very high.but that’s what happens at an emergency pet hospital. Don’t let the price be the reason you don’t go if this is the nearest option to you.

I cant say enough about the quality of care provided and the compassion they displayed while they worked with us on the cost. I am VERY happy with PESC!

They went above and beyond in a time of such sadness for us. Our dog had already passed when we arrived and was not a patient there before that, so they didn't know us from Adam. But they took our little guy, sent us the nicest, handwritten card (his own vet (Banfield) didn't do anything), and when we received the box with his ashes today, there o many little special touches. It just made me smile just knowing the care they took with him. HIGHLY recommend them.

Had a referral for a specialist here because my dog is sick and my vet can't do endoscopy. Called to make an appappointm, was transferred to the "Specialist Coordinator". Left a voicemail. Never heard back. Called again 4 days later. Left a voicemail. Never heard back.

What excellent customer service.

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND CONDESCENDING. THEY WILL BE HAPPY TO CHARGE YOU A "RANGE" $500-$800 FOR A POSSIBLE DIAGNOSIS

By far the most expensive vet I've ever encountered. They tried to charge us almost $1,000 for 3 tests and a few shots. We took our yorkie to another hospital that we called and our total was only $442.62 so less then half for the same tests and medication all for a 15 minute drive. Very bad business. I'm well off financially but I don't think it's right to rip people off. What if I didn't have the funds and I had to take care of my animal.

I brought my Pit Bull in after she was bit by a rattlesnake. The staff really showed they cared, especially the doctor who came in to talk to me at about 1: 30am. When I went to pick her up, there was several staff there to help me with her and one to help me get her in my truck since she was on a lot of pain meds! They definitely seemed to care and helped my baby get better!

If you love your animal do not take it to this place, I lost my dog to this place.

My dog had a few wounds on her hip but was still able to walk. She was not in critical condition.

This place only cares for money. They were gonna charge us 6000 in advance when we said we couldn't pay that they dropped to 2500 this place wants to take the money and run. Two hours later I was in the car and they called and said I'm sorry but your dog is dead.

PLEASE IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL DON'T TAKE IT HERE.

We had a wonderful experience at Pet Emergency & Specialty Center this morning. My beloved schipperke had to go in for a painful ear. Michelle checked us in and we felt very comfortable and cared for. Dr Sutter was AMAZING. Our dog is a total B at the vet. She’s a friendly dog but she can be particular and snippy. He made her so confy she was rolling over for him which I have never seen in 3 years and many many vet visits. I’m a nervous dog mom so I appreciated the extra time and care.

Alyse Zacuto the veterinarian here joyfully diagnosed my cat to be dead in 6 months last year.
Its now well over a years now its doing fine.
Stay away from this vet peole. SHE HAS NO MORALITY. Plus they took over $2,000.00 from me for there overnight servises.
Alyse has zero compassion for your pets.
Stay awau from this facility if you truley love your pets.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!

I would give them 0 stars but that's not an option. This place is TERRIBLE! My dog went in for a stomach issue and left with a neurological problem caused by them for giving the wrong medication.

They delibritly gave him another medication when we told them not to and that stopped them from doing a procedure that would have saved him.

After taking him out of this "hospital" he could barely walk. They told us it was from the pain medication and he would get better. A few hours later he was completely paralyzed so we took him to our local vet and this was not due to any pain medication. They gave him some other drug that caused permanent damage.

We had to put him down after this.

Please go somewhere else if u want to save your pets life. We should have known something was up when every family leaving that place was crying. All they want to do there is euthanize and move onto the next.

Terrible buisness practice. The vetrinary hospital has yet to learn how to give correct dosages of medication. Reconsider before trusting your pet to this shady establishment!

Brought my Cat in because I thought he had swallowed a sewing pin. Wouldn't see him because I was short about $40 for the services (xrays and office visit) $300? I was greeted with go some place else that might help. While I understand you are in business to make some money, you could show some compassion and kindness toward everyone. I am a senior and on a fixed income. I did find a very nice compassionate vet clinic. They treated him, no pin which was great! They gave me a 10% discount as a senior and my bill was literally half of what this clinic was going to charge. In addition they kept one of the blankets I had in the carrier when I went to retrieve it they could find it. I had phoned and they said it would be at reception. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS FACILITY!
