Great facility, helpful staff and very knowledgeable doctors. I only suggest they provide a written summary of the exam findings. I couldn't remember everything the doctor told me over the phone about our dog to relay to my husband so we could discuss options. Otherwise great! Would highly recommend.

Their knowledge and expertise of exotic and domestic animals goes above and beyond words. Been taking my colorful buddy Gottfried in for a few years now and they have kept him on the path to a healthy happy life.

I have been to many exotic vets, Dr. Boyer is the best! Very professional. Even I have to drive 2 hrs to have my bearded dragon to be seen. It worth.

Amazing Little pet hospital. From Liz at the front desk to Dr Caron everyone was very friendly and professional. I found them to be very affordable too. $79 for the exam plus extra if you need to treat. I hope to not need to go back however if I do This will be my place. They took great care of my Iguana too which is exotic and hard to find vets that will see him.

They even trained me to administer antibiotics

Love this place feels like a small town vets office with lots of love in a big city.

Thanks Guys

Jason

Killed my dog for no reason, vet thought he had vestibular disease, read multiple sources on Google afterward saying dogs usually recover from vestibular disease within 2 to 3 weeks and it is most severe during first 1-2 days and starts to improve third day - it hadn't even been 2 full days since dog had been affected, vet didn't even mention this, I even asked if the dog would get better on his own, wish I had looked it up while I was there, now it's too late and I have to live with regret
Also, staff didn't even bother to open the door for me when I was struggling to carry in my dog that couldn't walk

I brought my pet to this place and first of all, IT'S SO EXPENSIVE! They did a bunch of tests that weren't needed for my chinchilla. They robbed about 600 DOLLARS with out the extra tests and medication.
Second of all, I went to another pet hospital and the doctor instantly saw to problem (it was Ring Worm) and gave us medication after just looking at her (My chinchilla) for only 100 dollars medicine included. He even said that the this hospital's medicine isn't affective. DO NOT BRING PETS HERE! Go to Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital

I brought my chinchilla here becuase she was losing fur. The doctor, Dr. Callon, took 2 tests to figure out that it was ringworms. The first was an in-home one where she took it to her lab and when she came back she was like "hmmm, I suspect it might be ringworms, but we'll do the other test too, just to make sure. " The doctor was also very rude and spent most of the time talking about the money and why we needed to pay all of it. She seemed like she didn't like animals and only cared about money. One of the medication came a month later and the ringworms kept spreading. THAT COST ME 500 DOLLARS! After one and a half month, my chinchilla still had no signs of healing, so we decided to go to Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital, Inc and Dr. Jenkins knew right away it was ringworms without any test and prescribed the medicine right away. He said he had seen about 2000 animals who got ringworms and all of them healed within 30 days with the medication. He also said that the medicine that was prescribed form Pet Hospital of Penasquitos-Veterinary Specialist wasn't affective. He was very friendly and knew a lot about chinchillas. The total checkup plus 2 medicine's cost 108 dollars. I also got the medicines right away.

Dr. Caron is an amazing vet! My guinea pig was having cardiac issues and she got us in right away. She was so great with my pig, the whole staff was! I definitely recommend this vet!

Such a great experience, found them because I needed a vet who would see my rabbit, and after bringing my rabbit here I knew I needed to bring my senior cat here as well. Really kind and thoughtful care!

My hamster had prolapsed cheeks and this was one of the few places that took in small animals. Dr Caron and all the staff here are very kind and caring! I was very impressed and happy to know my hammy was in good hands.

Took my chameleon since it was not looking good. I was told she was cold, poor thing, and i got a lot of information and instructions on what to do to get it better and what improvements i needed to make in her enclosure. I got an appointment right the next day and it was not as pricey as i was afraid to.

My experience with Dr. Boyer was great! I was able to get the help for Sparky that I needed and I also got personal calls from him and his staff the following days to make sure my tortoise was doing well with his medication. I truly appreciate the care they gave to my tortoise at this time:)

Our guinea pig Egg Nog was bloated almost twice her usual size and had stopped eating. The vet said she was about to die-even with surgery the odds were against her. He said, however, that he'd had a similar case a couple years ago in which he'd lost a guinea pig, from which he'd learned some lessons. He was able to minimize surgery time, even while extracting a 2 pound cyst the size of my fist, and gave Egg Nog an excellent post-op plan. Today, 4 months later, Egg Nog is thriving as if nothing had ever happened, and much appreciated by her sister Nutmeg (not shown).
