Can’t book an online mail trim, and states they take walk ins. Okay, so I walk in and they are short staffed and that can happen. So I book an appointment for 3 days out and ask if I need to bring current shot records, and told all is okay. I show up and the appointment was not showing and I needed current shot records.

Arthur did an amazing job answering my questions about the fish I was buying! He showed that he cared about my animal. His supervisor though was incredibly rude to him and instead of helping with customers on line she just told me the fish I chose was defective and that I should just pick another one while shaking my beta in his container. She was old, blonde, and a bum. Hope she gets fired! Happy Holidays

Shame on Petco for giving leadership roles to people with terrible customer service skills. Manager Jamie mistreated a latino family while I was in line. She was waving her hand at the customers face and saying 'byebye'. A real nasty power trip attitude. Was excited about new store but this person really made it toxic to patronize this place again. Terrible scene, horrible leadership.

Petco moved from the plaza between Jefferson and El Camino Real, to open a frivolous Halloween Store that will close it's doors in November. Petco didn't GAS about the customers and not even a courtesy sign so customers could find a store.

Miel is amazing! She’s so nice and gave my puppy the much needed attention he seeks:) She also gave the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. She honestly made my day! Please show her some appreciation!

Have been there three times to redeem the Padre strikeout promo only to be told they’re out of the toys. This has been for three months now. No rain check offered. False advertising? Are the Padres aware?

When I arrived I met with Maria, she was very friendly and professional and recommended buffing for my dogs nails. He looked amazing when I picked him up, his paws and claws looked great and he had a nice even haircut. I was able to get an appointment the next day and it only took about an hour and a half. I would definitely recommend this Petco groomer.

Went in to get some toys and bones for our new puppy, we were so overwhelmed, there is just so much to choose from. Winter was stocking the shelves and asked if we needed help, she was so nice and took us around the store showing us different items to buy. Everything we bought has worked our perfectly, we have one happy puppy! Her favorite is the cows ear! She also loved the Kong filled with peanut butter and the pumpkin rings.

No one knows how to answer the phone for grooming. I called two days in a row several times and no answer. Even left a voicemail. Taking my dogs somewhere else!

After going back and forth with Petco customer service for 3 weeks! I was finally was refunded 2 cases of cat food I didn't order. To top it off the 1 case was dropped during delivery and food spread through case. I didn't have to return cat food but was allowed to exchange at any Petco store. I arrived at Petco spoke with a cashier I was completely honest, she told me go get food i was going to exchange. Came back a different cashier assisted me, and immediately made me aware I would have to pay for the food i just shopped for the exchange. She proceeded to inform me in the presence of other shoppers and cashies I had already received a credit, and very matter of fact told me where to scan my credit card. I told her that I had a different situation and only wanting to exchange. We went back and forth she repeated "i can't let you do that" at least 3 times and I finally gave up, she wasn't getting it. I felt judged of doing something wrong, people were staring. I asked for the items
I brought in. She said "i can't give it back you already got a credit" I don't know when exactly i said this "Petco makes Billions of of dollars and pay her how much? (I'm sure $47 will no break Petco.) After arguing some more, she finally returned what l brought in. Then she wouldn't let me use extra empty boxes 'can't let you do that' she said and charged me 10¢ for a bag. Don't get me wrong I love Petco and been shopping with them for at least 30 years, I have spent thousands of dollars, I own Petco stock! Yet 6 pm, on a Wednesday after work in Social Work, I was done. This mean young lady had every intention to harass, humiliate and embarrasse me. Came back home to my 3 cats without their favorite wet food.

I went into this location at around 2 pm to purchase a fish, tetras, and waited roughly an hour to receive ANY customer service.

Then, I was finally met by an older Caucasian woman who quickly told me that I was misinformed for asking for my desired fish. After about ten minutes of back and forth discussion about whether or not it would be appropriate to house my desired fish with the ones I already own, we both quickly became very frustrated, and any attempts to diffuse the situation did not work.
I struggle with a cardiovascular disorder and quickly felt myself becoming overwhelmed. To not sound dramatic, I genuinely, in that moment, feared for my life.
But the argument only continued. I was appalled by her disgusting language and accusations regarding the fish I was trying to buy.

She then asks me, I kid you not, and I quote, "What size tank do you have? " she asked me. I said, "a 50 gallon tank. " And she looks me up and down with a scowl and tells me, "YOU look like a 50 gallon tank. "

I was absolutely appalled. I have never experienced such terrible customer service from PetCo before.

Please assess this issue with your staff. I will NOT be returning ever again.

One of the worst petco stores ive ever been to, grooming was terrible, waiting 10 minutes for a groomer to even come to the counter and start our service. I paid 80 dollars for my dog to get a bath and get his nails cut, no where on the dog was the fur even trimmed which was the only reason we came in because my dogs fur is too long. After killing almost 2 and a half hours waiting for him to be done at the grooming and we were not even close to satisfied.

The staff was SUPER helpful with getting me all setup to raise my two new beta fish. Very knowledgeable people that show they love pets through the care they give in helping customers with their pet questions!
