Petco, San Diego CA

This review is for the grooming department, specifically Robert. What a breath of fresh air! He is always so kind, positive, and caring. The kind and gentle care he shows to my dog is so much appreciated and he just seems like an all around lovely human. I always leave smiling after I see Robert. Thank you for spreading joy, Robert!

The staff and especially the manager Suzanne are always helpful, friendly and overall amazing at their jobs.

Always a Disaster - Store feels crammed, disorganized & there are only 4 shopping carts for the store? With only four shopping carts for guests, you would expect that the store would not be using them for storage. I did not stay to make a purchase.

It has everything you need, toys, food, vet & groom! Conveniently close to my home! Staff is always friendly & professional. They could use extra help at check out, at times waiting is long with only one person at check out. Store is always clean and lots of parking!

LJ is always one of those most helpful employees that I've encountered there she's always so friendly and always has a big smile when I shop there she is a great dog trainer and a great employee I have been shopping there for years and I look forward to always seeing her every time I come and visit this location. I love buying their squeaky balls here if they have a large variety of sizes especially small and smaller for my tiny poodles which not many stores offer.

Staff is super nice & walked around with us as we tried to find a crate for our new puppy

I made a purchase and gave me as change a 5 bill that is written I didn’t notice right away, now nobody wants it employees need to check the bills

Petcos Petco. You get what you see. A bit $ but large selection foods, treats, meds, leashes etc. Various pets. Grooming. Got just nails @ $12.95 plus tip.

Marilyn was so friendly and helpful! She went above and beyond. I’ll happily splurge on my pup at Petco if she’s there

I especially like the website’s accuracy of “available in stock” list of stores. I like how I knew exactly which location had the medicine for my cat and as soon as I purchased it, my online Petco cart said no longer available. Very real-time instant accuracy. Also, they had the quality brand holistic medicine that was not available at other pet shops

I can't believe this is an actual petco. This place looks like a bomb hit it. Shelves empty all over. Inventory sitting all over the place. A huge line with just one person checking people out. I literally came back in with my phone to take pictures because I couldn't believe how poorly this place was being operated.

5 stars for the workers. The Vetco personel truely care about the animals! They diligently answered my questions and concerns about my puppy's symptoms after vaccination.

Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is the computer program is not completely set up but they were working to fix the issue while I was there.

Horrible animal treatment. They only care about $ not animals. Go somewhere where they don’t abuse animals.

Nice and helpful staff at this location. Acana available here. If you download the Petco app they have a "loyalty bag program", purchase x amount of bags- (I believe buy 7 get the 8th free)

Love this store but this location didn't have everything I was looking 4 had 2 go 2 a different one
