Peter was fantastic to have on the process of selling our house. He gave us a realistic timeline, was very knowledgeable about what our asking price could be, was very fast on meeting with us and developing our sales packet. I called him in the morning asking him to assist with the house sale, and he was at my house later that evening completely prepared. He was ready with sample marketing materials, 3D house scans, and had a list of vendors for the prep process. He helped me to get the house up to standard to meet city requirements, including having his people replace broken doors and siding, inspect the roof, and do a very thorough whole house clean (attached a few photos of repairs). When we listed our house, it sold the first day on the market for over asking price. During the closing process he was always a text or a phone call away; I never once was concerned that I could not reach him. I was so thankful to have an incredible realtor like Peter on my team!

It was such a pleasure to work with Peter on the sale of our home in PG. We decided to give Peter a call after reading all the positive reviews and knew from the start that we had found our realtor. He made us feel like a priority every step of the way and brought in a full price offer (and record price for the Hillcrest neighborhood) within 8 days of listing!

Peter is passionate about his work and about achieving the best outcome for his clients. He is thoughtful, respectful, organized, and a tireless worker and communicator. Prior to listing, he brought in a professional stager and worked with us to develop a reasonable list of updates and timeline for completion. In addition to providing high quality vendors and coordinating the work, Peter worked alongside them (and us) on multiple occasions to help keep things on schedule. From painting to shoveling bark, posting furniture online for sale, and making trips to Home Depot and the local nursery, Peter was everywhere! We found Peter on Yelp based on the great reviews for realtors in the Monterey area, and we weren't disappointed. We've bought and sold several homes over the past 20+ years and Peter has been the most organized one we've come across. Peter is very friendly, has lots of energy/enthusiasm and a positive attitude/character allowed us to get through the process fairly quickly and without headaches. Although we never met in person, we spoke on the phone, via email, and text since we live over an hour away from the property. We learned to trust Peter in handling all the big and little details required in successfully selling our investment rental property:

* Peter coordinated with our existing tenants all vendor appointments and showings
* He fixed and provided resources for maintenance items on the home while on the market, such as hiring a handyman to replace a broken French door glass, painting concrete floors in a storage area, hiring an electrician for fixing an exterior main power line, hiring a plumber for repairing broken water heater, hiring house cleaners, and junk removal/disposal of trash.
* Provided all professional inspections: Home, Termite, Roof, Chimney, City, & Water Inspections
* Prepped the home for market listing by having the interior of our home professionally cleaned, the front yard freshened up with new bark, planting new flowers, basketball hoop removal, and repainted siding at the garage.
* Provided professional marketing materials (HD Brochures, 3D Floor Plan, 2D Floor Plan, Property Website, YouTube Ads, Property Flyers)

Peter was recommended by a family member’s realtor in another state. This realtor had never worked with him before, but she heard of his work and reputation. Once we started working with him, everything we heard about him was true. Peter was very professional, personable, thorough, and efficient. Was communicative throughout the whole process and was available for any questions or concerns we had. When I say he is all about his business, I truly mean it. He leaves no stone unturned. We met him Thursday of one week and he had the house on the market by the following Friday. When he told us the house would be on the market within a week we were cautiously skeptical, but he made it happen. When he says something you can trust him to follow through with it. Despite me working as the POA for a family member and handling business from the East Coast and in different time zones, he and his team including the title/escrow company made the process seamless. It was a pleasure working with them. Within six weeks from listing to closing, the sale was complete! Would highly recommend him to anyone in the market for a home. Here are just some of the reasons why we were so satisfied with his work:

We were referred to Peter Boggs by a friend and we’re so glad we were! From our first meeting at his office, we knew that Peter was the right real estate agent for us. He took the time to understand our priorities, wants, and needs and worked tirelessly for a year and a half to find us the perfect home in this competitive market. As first-time home buyers, Peter taught us a lot about what to look for in a house and the home buying process. Peter was always quick to respond and did a great job keeping us informed. Peter’s expertise in the local market was invaluable and he crafted a compelling offer that helped us beat out 4 other offers. He reviewed all inspection and reports for properties of interest. He also helped us work through appraisal and loan issues. Peter is really passionate about helping people find the right house. In the end we got a great home thanks to Peter.

We decided to sell our Monterey investment home after 11 years of ownership. Our first step was to select a realtor. We researched the top realtors in the area and selected four to interview in their respective offices. Peter Boggs made a great first impression on us and made our “short list” of two realtors. After a subsequent meeting at our home Peter was the obvious choice to handle our transaction. The home had been rented for 11 years and in need of some TLC and significant landscape upgrades. We wanted a realtor that had the vision to make appropriate recommendations and the resources to implement the choices that were made. I should add that we live 2 ½ hours from Monterey so we would not be there to do any hand holding. Peter recommended a new rear fence, to temper the view of the Presidio Army Base behind our home, and landscape upgrades to enhance the curb appeal. Peter brought the resources to bear for these projects at very reasonable prices and they were executed on a tight time frame. The interior work included repainting several rooms and replacing dated and/or mismatched light and plumbing fixtures and door hardware.

Peter’s marketing program is more comprehensive than any realtor in our experience (having interviewed other Monterey realtors and bought or sold a number of homes over the years.) Peter provided, at no cost to us, amazing professional staging, a lifestyle video, 3D floor plan, 2D floor plan, property website, HD photos and brochures, and more!

After our renters moved out on March 31st all interior and exterior work was completed within 2 ½ weeks, the home was beautifully staged, and marketing materials prepared in time for an Open House on April 22nd, just three weeks later! Peter beat by a full week our aggressive timeline of four weeks to get our home on the market!

Peter’s communication is amazing. He is super responsive to texts, emails, or phone calls day or night. During the home prep stage Peter texted or called us multiple times each day with updates and photos. The Coldwell Banker electronic escrow timeline kept us abreast at all times of activities underway or scheduled from the signing of the listing agreement through the close of escrow.

The Open House was a phenomenal success with multiple parties expressing interest and indicating that offers would be forthcoming. By Sunday evening of this initial weekend we had two written offers in hand. Peter’s insights and guidance were instrumental in negotiating a sales price of $101,000 over our asking price. Thanks to this all cash, no contingency offer the sale closed just 13 days after hitting the market! We were concerned that we were selling into a buyers’ market but you wouldn’t know it from the results. Peter’s boundless enthusiasm, his marketing program, and gift for presenting the home in its best possible light truly exceeded our expectations!

When we decided that we needed to find a realtor to help sell our house we had several important considerations. First and most importantly, with a short window of time before we were scheduled to move to the East Coast, we had a lot of work to do to prepare the house to go on the market and needed to have the house sold quickly. Secondly, each of us having a full-time job as well as a 2 year old child to take care of did not allow us to be able to spend time coordinating the numerous tasks that are needed to prepare to put our house on the market and manage the many appointments once the house was listed. Finally, one of us was to be traveling for work for two weeks while the house was being prepared and listed, further reducing our bandwidth to get things done quickly. As a result, we absolutely needed someone who we could trust to get the job done right, and done right quickly.

We couldn’t be more thrilled that we selected Peter to be our realtor. After interviewing three different realtors, we selected Peter because it was clear that he was the right person to be able to navigate us through the process given our situation. When we first met with Peter, he asked us what we were hoping to achieve with our sale and then outlined in great detail how he would proceed to make that happen. When all was said and done, Peter executed the precise plan he laid out and got us two offers, ultimately selling our house for full asking price in one week!

There was a ton of things to get done before the house could be listed and we trusted Peter to coordinate all of them. We got automated updates via email/text on scheduled appointments and when they were completed, which was great to be able to quick status updates. Peter was also great at reaching out with calls to talk through where we were in the process, which allowed us to get as much information as we needed on any number of issues. Once the house was listed, Peter did an amazing job at generating excitement and interest in our house through the open house and private appointments, all leading to getting a contract offer for full asking price.

I had just lost my best friend and ex-husband. At 70 years old being executor of his estate was too much to deal with.
I gave away everything except those items that were sentimental. Only a few things remained.
Luckily, I finally got Peter Boggs Realtor. His name was synonymous with happy people.
He took over the odious tasks of getting the condo cleaned and what few items of furniture was left he disposed of them for me.

Nothing worse than trying to sell a condo with the interest rates going up rapidly. However, Peter came through. He kept me apprised of what was happening at all times. When it sold I only had to leave my apartment once. Everything else was done through email. What a blessing.

It’s so hard to trust anyone these days with scammers everywhere. But I’m relieved to say, Peter is a sweetheart and will take good care of you.
