Pete’s BBQ Ramona reviews
15I miss the gyros and the Philly, & think they charge too much for condiments. Love the employees and atmosphere, though
Anyone who loves BBQ knows it's best made at the hole in the wall joints. And this place proves it! It's on a busy corner combined with a corner store. You walk in and head to the back. Order at counter and served on cafeteria trays. Tiny fenced off area to sit away from liquor/grocery store. So atmosphere is low. But the staff is super nice! And food is AMAZING! Lots of flavor without it being drowned in sauce. How good BBQ should be. Better than Phil's or Mikes BBQ.
Some of the best barbecue out there. Excellent smoking of meats and delicious barbecue sauces.
Really nice, quick service and there is a small store inside for drinks and snacks and its kept very clean
Food was slightly cold, sliders and ribs. My pulled pork sliders had a weird taste to it too.
Very middle of the road, had pulled pork sandwich, just wet flavorless meat with some underwhelming sauces the regular is close to a bottled A1 and the spicy is that and tajin for some "heat".
beans were okay,
Coleslaw is okay.
Great spicy bbq sauce. Great regular bbq sauce. Great, addicting peach cobbler. Great macaroni salad. St. Louis ribs were pretty good. If you like the onion rings at Burger King, you will like the onion rings here.
First time trying, ordered a tri-tip burrito, 2 brisket sandwiches, onion rings and mac n cheese, total was about $70. The Burrito was good my son like it, but the brisket was tough, dry and over cooked, the tri-tip was better and more moist. Gave it 4 stars because the staff was nice and friendly just the food was a lil disappointing. Maybe next time ill try some pork that’s a little more forgiving.
I had the pulled pork plate with sides of potato salad and baked beans. It also came with corn bread. Everything was excellent, I was particularly impressed with the baked beans. There were some chopped peppers in there that really made them great.
Just want to send a shout out to the team working tonight on New Year's Eve. Friendly, great service, and as always, great food quality and care. For XMAS Eve I placed a large family order, and also great on all fronts and the whole family was happy. I especially enjoy the pulled pork Mac and cheese, the tri-tip salad, and the ribs. I stopped ordering via door dash when I learned that Pete's makes less this way with fees and I began ordering through their website instead. Better pricing for me, and more for them. Happy new year Ramona and it's great local businesses. Love Pete's!
Amazing sandwiches and all around food, but i just can’t tolerate the mac and cheese, just tastes awful.
Really enjoyed the food. Big portions. Had leftovers. Service was good. The dining area & furniture could use a little attention but all in all, a good experience.
This place does an amazing job with their BBQ meats. My wife and I travel from Orange County to this spot because it is that good. Keep up the phenomenal job!
We have ordered the brisket twice here and the meat was tough to chew both times. Flavor was good. Will try something different - better we hope - on another visit.
Brisket was fair, pork ribs were gamie tasting, chicken was ok. Barbecue sauce was ok, not great. Defiantly don’t order the Mac n Cheese, it was horrible.
