Petit Park Granada Hills Recreation Center reviews
27Right now it's pretty much difficult to enjoy because the area it's overrun by homeless people.we have got to find a way to help those people so they can have some reasonable housing without just being stuck on the street the way they are and occupying recreational areas that the neighborhood families really need.
I went here today for a place to eat with my friend since of social distanting. I tried to park at the parking area on Petit but saw that they closed it down for RV trailers and I also saw a line of homeless encampments. So we parked on Chatsworth, there was some homeless tent but I parked away from them. The benches was okay and there wasn't a lot of people in the area but you'll see and hear the homeless people arguing or making noise so we didn't stay long.
I wish the pool was open. Lots of homeless it was sad to see where I played as a kid next to the apartment building I lived in totally over run trash everywhere library closed. So sad️. I will pray for all who are struggling their
Medium-sized park with a large enough grassy area to play ball games without being on top of other parties. I saw a people which is not filled, probably because of covid. There's a playground in the middle. There's street parking on Chatsworth. A few homeless tents up along the sidewalk.
Petit Park is a great park that has two playgrounds, one for younger kids and older kids. They have a huge grass area to play soccer and football along with a baseball playing field. My son has participated in Petit after school program, Summer/winter camp, and joined their soccer team. Our experience for the last two years has been incredible. The camp counselors are energetic, caring and communicate with parents well. Christina has been a joy because she always provides me with an update on how my son's day went. Whenever he got hurt, she always texted me right away and provided an ouchy report. I would highly recommend this park & their activities to any family/friend.:)
Is hot but it has shadow spots, just not too much on the structures. It'd be nice to have shadow on the structures. Also kids come after high school to listen to harsh music, that can change a bit too. A guy smoking in his car in front of the structures, kids smelling that second hand smoking which is detrimental while running because of heavy breathing. Enforcing rules would help a lot!
Lots of activities for the kids, softball, soccer &the library is a great place to relax & read a good book️️️
It's big, kid fun jungle gym. Large field for sports. Basketball nets too. It's awesome. Lots of shade.
Great park. My daughter goes to preschool & camp. She loves it! Great programs for all ages. Staff is amazing and organized. New pool coming in 2020
Great park! Me and my friends always come here during the summer and we just skate around. While we had summer school we would go there after we would get pizza
Awesome family park. Great place to take kids. There was a carnival this weekend and we had a good time.
Nice environment, allot of activities for kids, join Summer Camp. Is next to the Library access to more fun.
It is a shame that our city has not figured out how to use reclaimed water. The gym is nice and the staff is friendly but the grass is suffering from the drought and weeds.
Nice place. But there is no working light's in the bathroom men's or women. Also the doors don't close to the bathroom.
Great place for family picnics most of the year. It is an inviting location in the morning for joggers and walkers, and for dog walks.
Good place to spend time with your children and you can go to the library and also play and relax
Love rhis rec center and park only problem is the pool hasd been in non working for 2 years. And camp registration should give long time regular campers priority registration since they attend consistently on a regular basis
This place is great! Theres a playground and library. You can also play softball, baseball, soccer, basket ball, wrestling, volly ball, tai kwon do, and piano
Nice little park with plenty of benches, a kids play structure, bathrooms and even a library at the corner. Parking area is small so it fills up fast.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE PETIT PARK. THERE. IS. THE UPPER PART OF. THE PARK. ON CHATSWORTH BLVD.
THEN, THERE. IS A LOWER PART OF THE PARK ON SAN JOSE STREET. THE. BASEBALL FIELDS ARE GREAT. TO. ACCESS AND PLAY ON. ALL. SORTS OF TEAMS. PLAY THERE. SOCCER, SOFTBALL, BASEBALL, THERE. ALSO IS A. BASKETBALL. COURT. THEY HAVE A BEAUTIFUL RECREATION CENTER, AND LOCAL BASKETBALL TEAMS PLAY THERE TOO.
