Petrini's Italian Restaurant - Santa Barbara

Amazing service! Everyone was very attentive and friendly. The place was cozy. Plenty of seating and one of the things that my family noticed was the light bulbs had a dimming pant on the bottom part that made it so much nicer.
Now the food! This place has officially ruined all other Italian restaurants for my family! We loved EVERYTHING we ordered! I don't normally like tiramisu but I even asked if they sell it a whole one because I would have ordered it for my birthday cake! I highly recommend going there and trying off everyone's order. We did soups, meals and shared desserts for 4 people and it was about $120ish. Very reasonably priced

Update: Our family is now driving two hours to eat here now. Almost 4 hours round trip for their food. If that doesn't tell you it's a 5 star place I don't know what it!

I am from SB, so while driving thru, I ordered #2 salad. They used to pile it high with the toppings. This time, not so much. Still good, but a little disappointing since I don't live there any longer.

I've lived in Santa Barbara for decades and this is the first time I've been to Petrini's. It's a jewel! The food was delicious, spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, and even the stroganoff. Yes stroganoff at an Italian restaurant! A great Caesar salad that you can order to share with as many people as you like. The main waitress is wonderful, direct friendly and a little sassy! Prices are reasonable with most items in the 15 to $20 range with a menu that goes on and on and on. Atmosphere is old fashioned neighborhood Italian with checkered tablecloths but not the overly worn and scruffy look that such places sometimes take on.
We will certainly go back!

We came across this family restaurant while looking for a good Italian restaurant. Our food was really delicious, from pasta to pizza, there was everything an Italian heart could desire. Prices were unbeatable by American standards! Thank you for the great food

Inconspicuous little shop but really nice staff and great value for money. We were asked several times how we would like the meat, the sauces.so in the end the food was exactly what we wanted. At the end we even got free deserts. Always my pleasure. Best greetings from Cologne!

Very tasty, hot and fresh food, friendly and courteous service. Homemade salad dressings and delis garlic bread.

My family and I have enjoyed Patrini's every Friday night for over 40 yrs! I literally cut my teeth as an infant, as did my little sister on the one-of-a-kind pizza crust and pizza, that only the Patrini family recipe can provide. Let Patrini's become a family tradition for your clan too! Enjoy!

So. I worked at Petrini's as a waitress when they opened a restaurant in Ventura, years and years ago. My fave sandwich was - and is - their sausage and bell pepper, sauce, on the most delicious bread. That restaurant is long gone, but a couple years ago I stopped for lunch at the original Petrini's on my way to Santa Barbara Airport airport. Sadly, I had just left my sister's home, where she was fighting cancer. So I don't think I appreciated my sandwich as much as I should have, and only left a 3 star review, with no comments. That was my bad. I've had their sandwiches, pasta, pizza and salads and all are star quality. I get to fly in once a year to see family, and ALWAYS make a point to stop for lunch or dinner before coming home. Never disappointed. Whew.those 3 stars have bothered me! Tell the boys that Doll says hello! Well, they were young when I knew them in Ventura. 8-)

This place is awesome. First, the staff is so friendly. Tim was our waiter, and he was great. The atmosphere is very casual with lots of locals willing to strike up conversations. The food was fabulous. I had the chicken Marsala and it was great. My husband had the vegetarian lasagna, and he ate every bite! I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good, authentic, reasonably priced Italian food, and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. A+

Petrini’s is one of the last few great Italian Restaurants that is run by the family with an attention for detail.
Taste profile: Classic Italian fare from Pastas, Pizzas and your favorite Alfredo, Picaata & Marsala.

Best family Italian restaurant in town. Family run and family friendly featuring historic photos of various Italian locales. Some of the staff may remember your order if not your name if you come here more than once or twice! Pizzas are crisp, thin-crust delicacies. Baked perfectly and never soggy or chewy. Their sub sandwiches are also delicious. Clam chowder is another tasty option. Prices are Santa Barbara reasonable and it's a great place to bring the family or large groups.
