Excellent line of products and excellent customer service in Encinitas! It is the best pet store in the area!

This store always has a good selection of items, has friendly staff willing and able to help. This is my go to petstore!

It's always great to go into PetSmart the people are so friendly and nice and it's awesome to see all the pets the owners bring in and see the the cats that are up for adoption and the betta fish those are so pretty I really enjoy PetSmart thank you for being here during this crisis God bless to one and all and have a very safe and healthy Easter and remember what Easter is really about

I ordered my 30 pound bag of dog food on line. Pick up was fast and easy. They offer curb side pick up, which wasn’t noted on line. Great for these uncertain times.

Staff are friendly and are very kind to my dog especially since she has separation anxiety. They took great care of her and made her feel comfortable during her stay. Keep up the great work!

The doggie daycare is great, and the employees are all very friendly. I highly recommend this store.

Encounter kind people like you in Encinitas! I did not darken the doors of Pet Smart today 11/25/19 post Cristo Rey feast day or yesterday! I did enjoy today shopping at Bath and Body Works. Yesterday, I bought pecans for good price at Sprouts!

We travel across town to shop here. It has everything you need and better choice than other stores

The managers at this location rate poorly in customer service. My most recent experience with the onsite manager was unpleasant. Be aware that if you have an e-mailed coupon, do not make the mistake of opening it up unless you're ready to use it at the moment of your purchase. Secondly, if it's necessary to speak to a manager at this location ask for the lead manager who will obviously care more about public perception and service then this locations assistant managers. Sales at PetSmart are laughable. Therefore, customer service is key. This location used to have a terrific managerial staff. It's time to find another pet store.

Virginia and Ashley in grooming are great. I’m incredibly impressed with their professionalism at this location. My dog Jasper absolutely despises getting his nails cut to the point where Petco was not able to do it. We now come regularly on Wednesday’s to work with Virginia and Ashley. I highly recommend them and this location to others, especially for nail cutting. Couldn’t be more impressed with their professionalism!

This store is always dirty and overpriced. The bathrooms are gross, if working at all. Almost always out of stock of the pet food I need. They do price match, but why is it so marked up to start? I have not found the employees to be helpful, nor knowledgeable. Solution: shop online. No reason to go into a gross store with less than pleasant customer service. Avoiding this store from now on.

We called, around 5: 00 in reference to a kitten we wanted to adopt, and were told that the kitties left at 4: 00. We were told to return at 10 AM the next day to see kittens in their adoption area. We arrived at 10: 30 and were told that they were cleaning cages for the next 20 minutes. So we left and headed to Helen Woodward.

The hotel manager Jill, (praying that's right) had the best attitude and handled a very difficult and negative situation and turned it completely around. Jill's employees were incredible too. I give Jill and her crew a 5+ rating and recommend anyone in the area to use the animal hotel at THIS location. Thank you for going above and beyond.

The young people working there are always friendly and helpful. I always go to buy supplies for out little doggies.

There are many dead goldfish in the aquarium department, and their bettas are dying in cloudy water. I have mentioned this to the manager before; no improvement. Pick another store.

I'm giving the store a 4-star rating because, while the help was "okay" the place was nothing to write home about. At least my (closer to home) Petco has more than enough store staff to answer any question and provide kind (and even gracious) service. PLENTY of free parking, a large enough selection for pretty much any need, and okay pricing. There are cheaper places, believe it or not.
