PetSmart, Chula Vista CA

Had what I needed. The place was stocked and employees were attentive and polite. It is convenient to get to and was everything I come to expect from PetSmart.

The grooming dept has gone downhill, but the products and staff for the main side and Banfield are top notch! We love this location!

Awesome store with lots of selection, we came in looking food and snacks for our cat and found out they had 4 isles of food and snacks for cats alone, we are so glad that we decided to come in here instead of going to walmart, we will be coming to this store from now on for all of our cats need. Along with that staff is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend.

Extremely Rude Staff
One of my hermit crabs has completely outgrown his shell and I was browsing around the reptile exhibit (where shells used to be kept) to try and find a bigger shell for him. I was approached by a staff member by the name of Tori (I believe that was her name, she grabs the pets from the cages for you) and I thought she was asking if I needed help and I turned around and politely said “Oh, I’m actually just browsing! ”, when she then rolled her eyes and aggressively pointed to the headphone on her ear to let me know she was not speaking to me, but was actually on the phone. Feeling embarrassed, I didn’t say anything, but I still couldn’t find any shells. So I went up to her (she was not busy helping anyone, but rather gossiping with another coworker) and I asked “Hi, out of curiosity do you guys happen to have any hermit crab sh-“, before I could even finish my question she said “NO” very loudly and disrespectfully, and i proceeded to ask “…shells? ”, and she said “No, we don’t carry hermit crabs anymore so of COURSE we don’t have shells, you can try another Petsmart, but call ahead first. ” After that I just went to Petco instead where they were extremely helpful, a lot nicer, and was able to obtain a shell! I’ve been in customer service for years and I don’t see why someone should be reprimanded in such a way, when I didn’t say or do anything wrong, I was just worried about my poor critter drying up and dying? I’m still leaving 2 stars because the vets and the manager is nice but WOW how rude!

Did not get my full order. When I called to do a refund, they said it wasn't their problem and I would either need to have doordash send someone (Which you can't contact doordash directly. You have to contact Petsmart), or get it myself, which defeats the whole purpose of doing a delivery. Manager didn't apologize for the inconvenience, or seem to care. Awful service.

I took my dog Teddy to get groomed and it was amazing! The groomer, Ernesto, did a PHENOMENAL job on Teddy! He was super friendly and did exactly everything that we wanted! Teddy was also in a great mood too! I really recommend Ernesto:)

Petsmart is a pet friendly business. They have many many products at reasonable prices. The staff is super helpful. They have events for pets and owners for example Picture with Santa, they have pet training, the store is very well maintained and there is plenty of parking. Oh yea, the groomers are awesome and they do awesome work. Take a look at my dog Sassy!

Always friendly and helpful! The employees are knowledgeable and can answer any question. I buy my fish there… they usually have a good selection and have a money back guarantee. My fish and frogs have lived over two years from there.

No where on here does it mention that they close down the reptile section at 8: 30PM despite their store staying open until 9pm. I arrived at 8: 40 and they would not sell me a reptile. I hate that I wasted my time and gas. I guess just add this to my list of reasons for no longer doing at PetSmart.

PetSmart had a lot of choices of soft food food for My Sugar she is so funny with food all she eats is hard food so I'm trying find different flavors they had a lot thank you PetSmart

This is the only Banfield that had any open appointments. Till mid-May my baby had an ear infection& they got him right in and fix it up and I think he's feeling a little bit better thanks Banfield. I know he makes you work.

Good selection of everything for pets. Grooming on site. Vet services on site. Go buy your best friend a toy, treat or. Enjoy!

Ana is the most rude checker! Let go of my dogs leash for one second to put the large bag of dog food on the counter because she did not offer to help and I stepped on the leash with my foot and she rudely Told Me my dog had to be on a leash.which she was. I understand policies are in
place but it was how rudely she approached the
situation that will make me take my money elsewhere from now on. She seemed overwhelmed because she was the only checker there and probably hates her job, especially working on a Saturday.

It was okay.but not the best customer service. 5 different employees walked by me and didn't even ask if I needed help.cashier/greeter was on it

It wasn’t what I expected it was kind of empty they carried more kitten stuff than puppy stuff I bought my puppy a cat bed cause they were much better than the puppy ones

The staff are friendly. I took my chihuahua mix to get her first groom, and she is pretty spicy when it comes to people and animals. Lexi took great care of her and those long claws she had. I definitely will come back again. The store is nice and easy to navigate.

Horrible. Over charged and cashier doesnt know what hes doing and i had to tell hi. Hes charging me for more then i have. And hes doesnt like using coupons can u use the. Another day i hate figuring out coupons

I try to shop local business more but I like the variety of products offered at PetSmart. It has a better selection of the things I need for my cats and dogs than I have seen at the petco I used to go to.
