PetSmart, Seal Beach CA

The go to place for all of our pets grooming needs. The store is well stocked and clean. Plus the people working there are always friendly.

People here are very rude with bad attitude, questioning every return and making me feel like I’m steeling. I can’t tell if they where just being racist but they where nice to others!

Staff is always incredibly friendly and they keep the store organized and clean. The cashier helped make sure I had the correct perception food for my dog which was appreciated because I had grabbed the wrong bag by mistake. One stop shop for pupper needs.

The store is clean. However, they never have the cat products I need. I literally had to change the food I was feeding my cat because they didn’t have his food for months. His litter never seems to be stocked as well. I went in today and I didn’t see his litter on the shelf AGAIN but on the app it said they had some. Sooo I put an online order for pickup. I walked around the shopping center for over an hour and half and my order still was not filled. I went to the rude cashier and asked if they could just fill the order, she explained why they couldn’t I accepted that. Then I asked her that they must have some in the back if they are going to fill the order, I said couldn’t I just cancel my pickup order and go ahead and get them. She was not helpful with going to go check if they had any in the back (which I knew they did). Literally, 20mins after I get home mysteriously my order was filled. Super annoyed! I will not be going to the Seal Beach store again.

Two things.
They claimed my dog was matted. Ok. He had four mats which did NOT require the half hour they charged additional if they're 'trained' when I could've done it much faster myself.
They also claimed my dog was infested with fleas. WHAT LIARS! MY DOG DID NOT HAVE A SINGLE FLEA! He came back INFESTED with fleas so I had to buy flea treatment.

The staff at this location is always friendly and we are always greeted on entry. It is well stocked and the pricing is comparable to other chain stores. We would shop here more often if PetSmart sold Zignature and Fussie Cat brands so for now we mostly purchase our rabbit care goods here. Located in large shopping center parking can be difficult, luckily there is an open lot near the back.

Petsmart in Seal Beach, California is excellent. Employees are very helpful and answer the concerns I have.

Associates are always friendly and they are willing to help and assist with any questions. Excellent Customer Service as well!

Always a great experience. Still great in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am glad PetSmart is open for our pet needs. They asked about our Bullmastiff and how he was doing. I informed the Manager and Associates our Bullmastiff passed in December 2019. They offered their heartfelt condolences. They are so sweet and thoughtful. After the pandemic, I will be ready to schedule a grooming appointment for our new furbaby.

Very disappointed that I drove from DTLA to seal beach for the bunny photo when the ticket said we would be give a free photo and scratcher. Lucky I have a cell phone or I would have no photo. The associate did not scan anything nor interacted with the guests. I was hoping for a professional photographer or camera at least so I can purchase more from them. Overall disappointing and wish I did not waste my time or gas driving there.

Just finished puppy class at this location and it was great! Amanda is the best dog trainer in town and always could answer any other questions about food / leashes / etc that we had!

Made an appointment (2) two days ago and even had an automated phonecall to verify my appointment.came in a few minutes early, not only was it closed with the lights off, but the grooming salon was closed as well.when i inquired with andrew, he educated me to the short-staff dilemma they were having and that i should have received a call saying so.i did not.if there is a problem with scheduling, there should NOT be an option to book an appointment.just saying.the saving grace was the interaction with andrew, good job with your explanation and well-wishes.this is why the place got 2-stars.probably not going to comeback to this branch.petsmart otherwise has always been pretty good to my best friend and myself.hope y'all do better in the future.

Jade was amazing and so knowledgeable! She is basically the dog food guru! Come for the best food and toy prices! They always have specials!

OMG! ABSOLUTELY LOVE this store! First of all the employees are amazing! I think we pretty much almost know all of them by first name lol! Oh and how EVERYONE there treats my dog Chief is amazing he absolutely loves everyone there oh and getting treats lol!

Good fish variety, they get new inventory on Tuesdays, but one of the fish seems to be sick, good thing they will take the return of the fish I like the personnel because they are attentive and friendly

Greeted by friendly employees who assisted me in finding the cat products I needed. Checkout was fast and efficient. I always find what I need at the Seal Beach PetSmart. Happy Customer

Love this location except for their pricing. Shelves represent a different price than the checkout. In several departments but cat food and treats notably this trip.

Best Petsmart I have been to. Today I was there to get my dog a new food that was not grain free & the 2 people that helped my husband & I were so awesome. They both went out of their way to help us & spent as much time as needed to find a food for my girl who has chicken allergies, I am so grateful for that. Thank you so much.
