Had a steak sandwich with peppers with provolone and wiz, recommended by my guy Matt super nice chill dude. Seeing him helping everyone like if they were his family was really good to see, family owned business thanks for everything Brotha

I recent went there when the Padres were playing the Phillies. I found out about this place and being a native Philadelphia I really wanted to enjoyed a real Philly cheese steak. The steak was great and the Italian sub was good. Both were on original philly bread roll and I had a great conversation with the owner who is from philly. When I returned several months later I found that the place was sold the rolls were no longer from philly the only thing from Philadelphia in that place is the decorations that the original owner left and the few bags of chips and sweet snacks from Philadelphia. The food is no longer prepared as it is from Philadelphia so don't waste your time.

Place had fantastic cheese steaks just like back home. Great employees. Heard they were bought out, no more amoroso bread or thin cut steak. Real shame

So yummy! Honestly best cheesesteaks I’ve had in a long time. Staff were also super friendly and quick service. I will be back!

Philadelphia Sandwich Company located in Miramar is known for their cheese steaks (with or without onions), chicken cheese, east coast style hoagie sandwiches and fries.

Soon they will be adding pizzas to their menu as well.

Apart from this they have lots of Philly goodies like butterscotch krimpets (my first time trying it), philly sodas and chips.

If you are looking for authentic loaded Philly cheese steaks get to now.

Great philly sandwich spot. Went there a couple years ago but wasn’t impressed at all. Came back today to give it another shot, and looks like they changed up the sandwich. It was so so good. Will definitely be back and now that they open till 8pm much more convenient for me

Everything was so incredible! Fresh grilled meat, veggies, the flavors on point, the sandwiches were loaded. Got the cheesesteak fries with mushrooms, all so so tasty! I got 2 large Jo's specials cheesesteaks one with jalapeños and it was huge! We could only eat half of it! Reminds me of the east coast, taste is authentic. You wont go wrong. Its under new ownership (the Abbys bbq next door took them over) according to the staff so I wish them well!

The cheesesteak and whiz fries were delicious. Food came out fast and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

There has been a change of owner ship and with that a change in ingredients. The rolls have been replaced with cheaper rolls that are not hoagie rolls. They no longer serve the Amaroso rolls advertised on their website. If you are craving an authentic cheesesteak this is not the place. They used to be good but now it’s just a not the same. Frankly this place does not deserve to continue using Philadelphia in it’s name. Hopefully the new owner comes to his senses and goes back to what’s tried and true.

As my brother would say, “not bad”. Not the best I’ve had (and I’ve been to Philly), but it’s decent.

I did t have the fries but it wasn’t super greasy like I would expect and it wasn’t smothered in cheese. Kinda bummed. I think the Google rating of 4.4 matches my sentiments. Worst case scenario, Jersey Mikes is next door…

I had a cheese steak with onions and white American cheese. Ask for some marinara pizza sauce on the side. Bigtime flavor explosion that elevates any already delicious sandwich to the next level.

Stopped for the first time. It was really good. Fries sandwich, service, everything. We will definitely stop by again.

Not open during business hours. Didn’t answer my 2 calls 20 minutes before closing… Guess the owner doesn’t like business.

Only posting this negative review due to store hours have tried to eat here multiple times but you close so early in the day that I end up going to abbys

I haven't been since they were in Kearny mesa so I decided to go get a toast beef hoogie just like I remembered but NNNOOOO THEY CHANGED THE WHOLE MENU AND NOTHING IS THE SAME! AND just ham or Italian cold Hoagie? What is that? I was so sad.and the lady she just walked away and didn't care.must have alot of business because she acted like she didn't need mine! Will never go back! NOT THE SAME PLACE AT ALL!

The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was pretty good, but I just wanted more flavor. The kids liked their ham and cheese sandwich and the cheese fries. The star of the show was my wife’s order: the cheesesteak fries. They were absolutely delicious! The prices were a little high, but it is San Diego and it is during a recession, so that wasn’t the end of the world. The owner and his staff were awesome people and they really made you feel welcome.

Sandwich is a little light for $10. Still hungry. Gotta find a second lunch somewhere. Good vibe tho

Got two of the same sandwiches. The joes special. Joe has never heard of salt. There was zero flavor in the sandwiches. The vegetables weren’t fresh, they’re canned. The fries had no salt, just garlic powder. Such a let down.

Authentic Philly Cheese steaks and hoagies. These are way better than Jersey Mike's and Firehouse Subs. The key is not only a fair portion of fresh ingredients, but to stuff everything into an Amoroso roll. Every time I eat here I feel like I'm back in Philly. The service is always fast and friendly. Everything on the menu is delicious. Plus, they always have Tastykake treats. Gotta love the Kandy Kakes!
