I wish I could give this spot a higher review, but I cannot. The coffee here is great, and the staff is very friendly. I've come here before for drinks with no issue. I had a coffee here with my date the other day and sat out in the outdoor area to enjoy it. We sat down on a bench to talk and enjoy our drinks and the atmosphere for a bit when a very rude security guard creeped up to us menacingly, and asked if we were leaving soon. I told him that we were eating food and drinking drinks purchased by the establishment we were sitting at, but he would not leave us alone. He continued asking if we would leave. He kicked us out of the outdoor area for the crime of going on a date and having a coffee at a coffee shop. I would not recommend going here because the security guards hired here are racist, classist, and will kick you out for simply existing. It's a real shame.

A pleasant place to stop and have aromatic coffee!
A clean, calm and original place, unlike a garbage Starbucks.

The food does not correspond to the menu picture, but it’s good that it’s delicious)

Overall, we are glad that we visited this cafe!
Recommend for you!

I’ve heard mixed reviews about this place and never got around to stopping by til today. Now for a latte person this is not the place. But for an espresso person this is definitely the place. I definitely lean on more of the latte side but I can enjoy a good espresso or brewed coffee and this place definitely has that. The baristas and cashier were super friendly and I would honestly come back. 4.7/5.

Service was slow for a Sunday. Ordered two hot drinks that were barely warm. Love the product but delivery was not good.

Some of the staff are awesome. But there one in particular, HORRIBLE. One guy with gingerish color hair seems to always be super annoyed. He makes the drinks wrong EVERY-TIME.

His demeanor is always different towards certain individuals. I’ll see him acknowledge others but once a certain hue arrives he looks at them with a blank expression and waits for them. He doesnt really set a good environment. I work in corporate and I am very savvy to the micro/passive aggressive behaviors and I suggest this location have some sort of diversity training because having all these posters and flags claiming to be inclusive/diverse but having certain staff treat others differently doesn’t quite add up.

I’ve come to this location many times over the last two years but have noticed I have began to come less and less due to poor service or poor drinks. The only complaint I have towards the rest would be not everyone is consistent and their drink are most times watery or lacks flavor even if you ordered extra sweetness etc.food is good but that’s because they don’t make it so can’t really complain there

Pros: the location. There really should be a good coffeehouse in this space.

Cons: this isn't it. The coffee is exceedingly burnt, even for people who love coffee and love even burnt coffee. Real coffee fans who do not want a dessert, but who actually want coffee, will be very disappointed by the acidity and burntness of this coffee. I would only consider this a Starbucks replacement in a pinch, I really do try to patronize local coffeehouses whenever possible, but I don't see myself coming back here. Additionally, the food offerings are very limited and very unhealthy, I really wish there was even something like granola available and there isn't.it's all pastries and the only gluten-free thing is a brownie. Just to give you an idea of kind of place this is, it really is more for taking your out of town guests than it is for daily life.

Additionally: the decor inside is cluttered and unwelcoming, I don't see myself ever possibly being able to work here or even have a decent conversation, given the layout. There is outdoor seating nearby which is nice and good, but not in inclement weather, obviously.edited to add: as others have noted, the prices are out of line. I know we are all so eager to gentrify downtown and price out everyone, but the prices are out of line with the actual people who live here.

I had the rose coffee with oatmilk. Divine! I want to try all the flavors in this comfortable, clean coffee establishment. It's tucked away, nestled in with some fabulous shops. Staff were friendly, which is always a bonus.

We all know the owners need to be jailed cuz at this point I am pretty sure "The Mint Mojito" over here is crack cocaine. One of the few things I miss about CA living in OR.

Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and well laid put with half of the walls in old bricks, half modern with floor to ceiling glass, parking lot attached but you can get lucky with street parking too, varies depending on the day and time of course.
Lots of specialty drinks and mostly drip coffee, all delicious and full of flavor.

Food choice was scarce. Nice ambient, and great service. Pleasant people. I didn't know they didn't serve espresso drinks, but pour over is great anyway.

Changing my review to 1 star. I mean wow. Walked in to order. There is literally no one waiting. I am the only one there. There are 3 baristas behind the counter. 1 appears to be busy but the other two are doing something else. No acknowledgment of me even standing there for a good 5 minutes. I have to assume they are not very inclusive for Asian males. <shrugs>
