Still don't know what the excitement was about. James Beard Award on the wall and a line to get in to boot. It was just really ok for me.

Between this and Pho Lu, best pho place around the area! This is might be more packed and busy so make so to come at the right time.

Pro tip 1: Bring cash, they don't take credit cards.
Pro tip 2: Use their bathroom, they have been updated and clean.

What does James Beard know about Pho?
What does Zagat know about Pho?

It appears they know why this place's pho soup is so good, flavorful and the bowl is full of meats and noodles that we all loved.

On top of that, they are a great value for how much food you get for how little they charge you. Soups Up!

I've been eating Pho 79 since I was born and it is undoubtedly one of the best Pho in town if not the whole country. The aroma that smacks you when you walk in is like heaven. Portions are absolutely massive and you will get your money's worth each and every time. I usually get the pho tai chin, but there are numerous combinations of meat you can try. I believe it is cash only, but that's something you should expect when you go to asian restaurants in this area. Even if you're just stopping by in Los Angeles or San Diego for a bit, it is definitely worth a drive down to Orange County just to try it.

Overcooked noodles and tendon.

Really busy restaurant with a line on a Sunday evening. The workers weren’t friendly look tired and overworked, thus service is poor. Everything we asked for was forgotten.

It’s disorganized and I won’t be back.

First time at this place, Bun bo hue was delicious, had lots of flavor and good portion size.

The location is easily accessible with lots of parking in the back of the building. Giving it a 4 star just because they’re a cash only establishment witch makes it inconvenient for people who do not have cash on hand, luckily I had some extra cash and we were only able to order as much as we had cash available.

Would like to try some other stuff on the menu but that’s for another time. Overall food was tasty and service was good.

I have been here for a while now, but this the first time I brought my girlfriend here it's really good and fresh. We both enjoyed our pho. Most definitely we will come back here. Best time to come are during the weekdays by 9-10 am.

Pho 79 is the original and is a staple of the Westminster pho community. Their sister location in Huntington is more modern and has better customer service, but the food is still incredible. You won't be disappointed in the food, but you might be waiting a while for water refills or for additional sauce.

Food was B. O. M. B. My family came back from a nice trip to Mt. Baldy, played in the snow & decided to get something to warm us up real quick. The best choice for a quick & satisfying meal is Pho 79! They have an option to eat in the car with everything ready to go. Best choice ever! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Most popular Pho restaurant for my office mates! Last visit before the California shut down of indoor dining! Egg rolls with lettuce wrap and liver were my selection for lunch that day. Liver dish is an acquired taste, spices used are very similar to some Taiwanese style beef jerky.
