Best pho place to eat in San Jose. Reasonable price, get food in like 5 minutes, and amazing food and Thai tea. Definitely recommend to anybody if they are looking for a fun and reasonably price meal.

Delicious food and fast service. The Bún Bò Huế was delicious and packed heat. We also ordered their chả giò and nem nướng cuốn, which were fresh and flavorful. Great place and definitely coming back.

Our family dined at the restaurant (outdoor) last evening. I was so surprised that the waiter who served the food did not wear the mask while querying/bringing dishes to each of us.

Every time I came visit San Jose, I always came here for Pho with fresh noodle. It is very good. Too bad that there is nothing like this in Sac.

This place had the best pho I've tried so far! Very good food here. Everything about the soup was perfect. I also tried their chicken and rice plate and that was also quite good.

The buncha eating experience was the worst. Giant vegetables, little dipping space, tough meat, I've had to use my hands to even eat this thing. I looked like a barbarian with sauce dripping down my chin. The food is ok but just imagine ordering food you can't eat with normal utensils. Not to mention the drive here was 45 min and wait was 30 min. Service was lackluster and at times rude. Absolutely do not recommend

One of the best phos I’ve had. Broth is not too sweet or sour, and they do *not* charge extra for thick (udon-style) noodles. Even the iced coffee (cafe sua da) wasn’t overly sweet. A very moderate style here allows you to add spices and sauces to create your own preferred temperature. (April 2018)

The dining area has high ceiling. Service was decent.
Phở broth was a little bland and warm, not hot. The rare beef was good. The fatty flank was chewy good. Wish the broth was a little more phở tasty.
Price is on high side just like everything else in San Jose.

The food gods rarely give second chances. But to many pho devotees, their prayers have been answered with the re-opening of Pho Hà Noi in Little Saigon's brand-new, upscale Vietnam Town plaza. Ph Hà Noi was a beloved Pho shop on Capitol Expressway that inexplicably closed in late 2013 despite a steady following and a solid four star Yelp cred. After speaking with owner/head chef Charlie, he said that they closed because of family issues and nothing business related. One of my good friends, who actually first got me into eating pho, used to wax poetic about Pho Hà Noi and how no other pho could compare. Well, when I heard about their soft opening in early December, I grabbed him and told him it was time to put up, or shut up.

Unlike most Pho shops which are sparsely decorated, Pho Hà Noi's new location and décor are upscale; with fancy chandeliers, quartz countertops and a stunning mural of Hoàn Kiem Lake adorning the rear wall. The service was also friendly and terrific, contrary to other places. At the behest of my cohort, we ordered their special combo Pho đac biet ($11.25) ―and to prove to our server that we were real Pho-Kings, we ordered the tái riêng (rare beef on side) to accompany our ph. Every other place I've been serves the rare beef in thin slices, but Pho Hà Noi dices, or tenderizes the beef and tops it with a little cilantro, green onions and fresh garlic.

Pho Hà Noi is known for their Northern-style broth, so it will be a little different than what most people are used to; it has a strong beefy taste with hints of green onion and ginger, unlike the southern broth which is more star jasmine and white onion. The depth and breadth of it is phenomenal as I slurped up every last drop. Their other specialty is that they hand-make fresh, wide noodles every day, and while there are a few other shops that do this sort of thing, Pho Hà Noi's seem to be thicker, tastier and does a great job of capturing the nuances of the broth. The tripe, tendon and brisket that all come standard with the special combo were all tasty and fresh, but the absolute highlight was the tenderized rare beef that was so supple, beefy and cooked quickly in their piping hot broth.

I was a little worried coming to Pho Hà Noi on their opening night because they may not have had all the kinks worked. However, other than a little payment snafu, they were up and running like a place that had been doing it for years. Second chances are rare in the restaurant world, but Pho Hà Noi is making the most of it, and South Bay pho lovers are rejoicing as Christmas has come early.

This place is known for their beef Pho. Really authentic Vietnamese noodle soup done right. Good amounts of meat and fresh herbs. Also make sure to try their avocado smoothie which is made from real avocado and really refreshing during a hot summer day. This place used to be in a much smaller location before but since they got too popular they moved to this new big and rather place. It gets really busy here during lunch and dinner time and there can be quite a wait - buts it's worth it. Service isn't that friendly but they get the job done.
Update: I come here all the way from the other side of town on a regular basis because this place has by far the best Pho in town. I feel they just keep getting better. It's authentic and tastes just like in Vietnam. They add as lot of green onions and cilantro which makes the hotel of soup not only look better but also taste better. Their soup just tastes so good that you're always forced to other the bigger size. Make sure to ask for fresh noodles. I usually go for menu item number 11.

Located in the relatively new outdoor mall, Vietnam Town, the food is good and served quickly. A decent selection of pho and rice dishes. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Service staff is friendly and attentive. Portions are plentiful and prices are reasonable.

Our first of many visits. Hopefully this mall will fill up with more vendors.

The service is the kind that doesn't do anything unless you ask them. You won't get get napkins, water or orders unless you flag them down and ask.

Food is ok. The broth was dark, but lacked the beefy pho flavor. However, they have salt and fish sauce at the table, so you can adjust it to your liking.

The pho soup was good, I would give it five stars. However, I was greatly upset by the server. I was enjoying my meal and stopped to look at my phone; I was not done and there were more than half a bowl left. The server came by tried to lift my bowl up with his gloved hand and asked rudely "Are you done? ". It was also very disconcerting that he later have the same gloved hand touched the menu and many other items in the restaurant. Really unhygienic.

This is hands down the best Pho restaurant in South Bay. My wife is Vietnamese, so she is very picky about her Pho especially in an area with such a large Vietnamese population like San Jose, and she always comes here for a beef Pho. We have been a fan of this restaurant for over 8 years (since when it was on Capital Expressway). The specialty here is the tai ban beef (rare beef pounded by a hammer before put in the soup). You have to give a try.

Wonderful pho, best of San Jose. I loved loved pho Hà Nội years ago but they closed down. I’m so glad they reopen in Little Saigon (all the way in the back, Next to Mint and Basil. Please don’t mistake With phở Phố cổ in the front.

Good selection of dishes from Hanoi but I'm not impressed by the drinks and deserts there at all

Wanted to try this place. Got seated outside and waited for 15 min to place an order, so we left to another restaurant.

Great restaurant, with the best pho in San Jose. It has the delicious Hanoi style pho, and executes it perfectly. I've been to Hanoi before, and this is on par with the greats.

The best pho I've had outside of Vietnam. Pho "Tai dap" is second to none. Small size should be enough for most. Must try!
