13Just got here the waiter asked us what we wanted, I wanted the cat fish didn’t have it, I asked for the clams under noodles, didn’t have it, and then the waiter tells me he will be right back to answer a personal call, made us wait for a while, no smiles on these waiter faces. Terrible service.
Love the food and service. Kevin and his wife have built a nice business in our community.
2/5/23: My family has been here many times over the years. We love it! From the owners to the staff, they have been consistently perfect. Their wait staff memorizes your order. Impressive. Kevin helped us set our son's bridal shower here and it was a super success. Food is always delicious!
Love this place. There aren't many places in the Eastlake area to get Pho, but I would drive from far away to come to this place anyways. Great service, great decor, great food and great ambiance.
I ordered pho on a Thursday night and it took them over an hour to get me my food. The front desk was nice, but if u value ur time, go someplace else. Why I was waiting people were leaving after being told it's a 45 minute wait.
Bad service. They did not allow us to seat on a table while there were plenty of tables. We came for a traditional Hot Pot, they did not have it. We wanted a traditional curry, they did not have it either. They only serve men first and tempura shrimp waa full of oil. Not recommended. Bathroom was dirty, as well as the floors on the main restaurant
The Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) is THE best in San Diego hands down! That's all I order at this place!
If I could give a lower rating I would
The waitress messed everything up from the beginning. Food was good though. Make sure you dress decent or you will not get good service. Nobody checked on us we had to ask for water and utensils. We work construction and looked like hard workiing people.
Subpar customer service. I was served a special combo pho with almost all noodles with little soup. Worse part, the soup was not even hot enough to cook the meat through. The server gave me another bowl and told me they’re not allowed to make a new one and to take as much noodles and meat as I’d like from the old bowl to transfer to the new one and they’ll give me some soup. Like what. I literally was served a bowl that was inedible and you tell me you can’t make a new one? We left the restaurant hungry so we grabbed froyo next door instead lol
Right now I'm enjoying spending time with family in San Diego, California. We decided to have a late lunch of Vietnamese food. Oooo.yum yum. I had Pho Ga with beef meatballs added (which includes bean sprouts, Thai basil and jalapeno) plus Vegetable Tempura. This restaurant is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. I'm actually surprised, but enjoying, R&B smooth music.
We ordered the Viet spring roll and found out that there was a piece of long hair within the roll, after our family had already taken the first bit of it.
Notified the server about such situation immediately, and the guy simply took the dish back unconcernedly. We would still like a new dish but perhaps some degree of apologies. There was no apologies throughout the entire process. It seemed to us that the server did not even mind that it is not supposed to happen.
An absolutely unpleasant experience.
Shrimp rolls, very good. Love that peanut sauce. Also love the bowls with noodles, shrimp and beef. Fresh veggies, sprouts and greens. So delish
I usually don’t write reviews but I feel like I had too. Got Pho and was very bland with no flavor. The worst was the customer service was not good, very rude.
Very pleased with the bun dish (noodle dish without soup, it's with veggies protein and sauce) I ordered.
The man who took my order was very nice. The food was great and I really appreciate how thin they cut the lettuce. Most places I order this dish from just roughly cut it.
It actually opens at 11am not 10am like it says on maps. Also the prices are about $3 more than reflected on the menu pictures on here.
