Pho Hoa Noodle Soup - Pinole reviews
16First time here. Pho was delicious. The staff was nice and friendly. The place was very clean. Soup came out quickly and was hot. Great way to warm up on a cold day.
So I will start off by saying that the food seems to always be consistent whenever I come here which is great. However the service is NOT. Tonight when I came in I seated myself because that is their policy. So as I walked up to the ONLY bench seat available to seat myself I noticed the bench was dirty, I then politely asked my waiter (Thinh T.) as he is walking towards me with a menu in his hand if he could please clean the bench, instead of him sanitizing the bench down with a spray bottle and a towel, he grabs a napkin out of the napkin holder on the table very abruptly and brush the bench off still leaving food on the bench. At this point I was very disappointed in the customer service that I was receiving and moved to a different table. Not to mention, after he brought me my bowl of pho not once did he ever come back to my table to check on me to see if I was okay or needed anything.
Today, 12/14/23, young lady that serves the food, works the cashier’s and clears the table uses one set of disposable gloves; rinses them in between and continues on, YUK! This place should be under inspection soon! Unsanitary!
Love everything, especially service! Well, it helps that the food is great. Nothing like a hot bowl of pho on a cold rainy day, highly recommend. And it’s family run, so good food and supporting local businesses to boot!
After a long day outdoors, my family and I stopped by to grab a nice hot bowl of pho on our way home. Pinole was in the way there and stopped by. A variety of pho bowls. Located inside a food plaza and definitely convenient to find.
I have a cold, so I figured a nice pho would lift the spirits. My usual spot was closed. So I picked this one. The noodles taste old which really ruined the whole dish. I have to say I've never had pho with lettuce and tomatoes in it, kinda worked. Well never again. That was money down the drain.
I had a really yummy pop corn chicken bowl. Would totally come back again
Update. Still delicious after coming here for a year
It is with mixed feelings that I write this review, as I am truly a fan of the delicious food at Pho Hoa. However, I feel compelled to share my recent experiences with one particular server, whom I believe goes by the name that starts with the letter 'C' and is a petite young Asian female adult wearing gold rim round glasses. On two separate occasions, I encountered a significant issue with her service.
It's disheartening to note that her demeanor towards customers left much to be desired. Initially, I wondered if it might be a personal matter, but after the second incident, it became apparent that she might not enjoy her job. In contrast, I must commend the bussers and the cashier, who are also young adults, for their attentive and proactive approach to customer service.
On my most recent visit, I ordered a Banh Mi Sandwich for my daughter, unaware that it contained jalapenos. Unfortunately, my daughter took a bite and started experiencing discomfort, desperately reaching for water. Regrettably, our server, the girl with the glasses, was nowhere to be found. This mirrored my first visit when I had to walk up to the counter to request a refill and place my order. On this second occasion, the busser, who happened to be nearby, noticed my daughter's distress and kindly offered milk and water. I expressed my gratitude for his quick response.
Despite this, the server never returned, often disappearing into the kitchen. I sincerely hope that the owner or manager of Pho Hoa will address this issue with the specific employee in question. Until this situation is resolved, I am hesitant to return to Pho Hoa, even though I adore their food.
They got a killer taro boba drink, got us addicted to now. Gave it 5 stars. 4 stars for the food we ordered overall. We'll definitely order again.
Their taro boba is to Die for. Overall the food was very delicious and fresh.the killer taro boba alone got us so addicted to now.we'll give it 5 stars. 4 stars for the food Overall. We'll definitely order again:)
Healthy and fast Vietnamese food. They have standbys such as pho soup, grilled chicken/pork/shrimp rice plates, vermicelli noodle bowls, summer rolls, and boba tea. I had the vegetable pho tonight to try to be a little healthy and it tasted great with garlic chips in there.
Been craving some Pho. This place is kind of small, but still cozy. The menu is easy to read, and they have a lot of choices. We had the #2 large steak & brisket pho, which was really good. The price seemed kinda high for a bowl of soup, but was worth every penny. The service was fast. We did not have to wait long before we were slurping some tasty Pho. The portion size was decent. I definitely recommend everyone come enjoy a yummy bowl of goodness.
As you can tell, one the top three foods for me is Pho. Last week I had to layover in Richmond and got there 1/2 hr before closing time. I was served right away and was treated to a good portion of delicious noodles and stale beef…. Good for a rainy night
I come here occasionally when I'm craving a nice hot pho noodle soup, and they never disappoint.
This place is terrible, the chicken pho had a bland flavor needs more flavor taste like pre packaged broth, I'd recommend going to Pho Craze 100x better near by they cook there broth using 100 percent bones to get that real flavor!
Decent pho. The place's greatest strength is its price and speed of service. Got my order in under 5 minutes and paid $16 for a bowl, which is a pretty solid price for around here.
Taste was very moderate. Nothing special but not bad by any means.
