Pho Sinh Alameda reviews
7Inside of an old weinerschnitzel bldg. I got a chicken bahn mi and it was really juicy. Nice affordable price and tasty sandwich. If you come during busy lunch time plan to wait about 10 mins tho. Not too bad.
I usually always come to this place and it has decent food but trash customer service. The lady is always rude to me even though I have been coming to this place for years, I only ignore her because her food is somewhat OKAY for alameda.
Today, I will never be coming back and let me tell you why. She didn’t even greet us and just pointed to a table, we sat down like usual, she brought us our waters. I was drinking my water while I saw two disgusting lipstick marks on the glass, I don’t wear lipstick! I told her and she didn’t even apologize, she just brought me a new one. Whatever about that, I can try to move on but red flag #1.
Huge red flag #2, they bring out my pho and while I’m eating it, I see a HAIR IN MY FOOD. I immediately want to throw up and I told her about it, she didn’t even apologize again! She said “I’ll bring you a new one” why do you have hair in the food anyway?
I will never be returning and I don’t even know how they pass health inspections. Don’t come here unless you want to be treated with pure disrespect. Thanks
Perfectly prepared meals. Healthy and flavorful. Friendly staff. One of Alameda's best.
On Wednesday, 3/8, my family 3 and I went to Phở Sinh to have phở for dinner at around 8 pm.
When we received the bill, I was trying to use my credit card, and a waitress, a young Vietnamese woman told us: “We don’t accept credit cards here; only cash”.
I ended up handing her $100 bill and received change back. When we came home, I checked the website and saw that Phở Sinh accepts credit cards. I felt betrayed by this individual, who told us she doesn’t accept credit cards.
I think that because she knows I am Vietnamese, and she asked for cash to avoid paying taxes.
If I was of other ethnics, maybe she would have accepted my credit card. That is discrimination and unethical. That was my last visit by Pho Sinh
Delicious food and great portion sizes, cozy and comfortable experience dining in
The food is always delicious here. Prices are still reasonable. Customer's service could use an upgrade!
