Phở To Chau reviews
15Amazing pho! I've never had a bad experience here, and the spring rolls. Not to be missed! Sometimes I go in, just for the spring rolls. Food is absolutely delicious
I enjoy my pho broth on the savoury side and that's my personal preference! If you like your pho broth on the sweeter side, come here and try this place out! Friendly service and the food comes out very fast. Also, I like how this pho place is decently priced and the portions big.
We got the large Bon Bo Hue and Tai Name Sach - it was good.we look forward to coming back and trying new items on the menu. Here's a couple of extra photos of the current menu!
Came here at 8pm for takeout on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy, and the food was finally ready to be picked up at 8: 25pm. The Canh Ga Chien, fried chicken wings, were good. I had the grilled pork shop rice plate with egg and salad. It tasted pretty good with the fish sauce. I like the portion size.
Absolutely delicious! The pho is amazing and the service is quick. Usually get get the chicken pho with egg noodle, always good. And the spring roll is great too. I like how they also have boba options and Vietnamese coffee. This place never disappoints and is a nice good restaurant in downtown mountain view.
The pho is simply amazing! We loved the tomato pho and the oxtail. The fried noodle also taste great. Everything here has big enough portion and refreshing taste as always.
Love all their dishes. Everything from the Pho, Ban Mi, Vermicelli, and Spring rolls are all tasty and delightful. All the drinks we've tried were great, fresh lemon soda, salty plum, Thai iced. Loved them.
Good food, and good service.
Quite disappointing. I've been here several times last year and it was pretty good. Lately I've noticed a decline in quality. Yesterday's meal sadly I did not enjoy. I ordered the 1B Filet Mignon Pho. I was given barely any noodles, the meat was almost non existent and no different than the standard beef in my girlfriend soup. Also my girlfriend ordered a side of beef balls with her soup. They added a total of 2 beef balls cut in half. The worst part though was a roach that crawled off the table. Sad, because we used to love this place, but there are much better options in the area now.
The pho broth isn't as good as Pho Saigon or House of Pho; I normally drink the entire broth but couldn't drink this one. The fried rice is good but the spicy chicken is too spicy even though the waitress said it would only be a little spicy. The vietnamese coffee is so strong we had to bring it home and dilute it with more than the same volume of milk to make it palatable. The water came during the middle of our meal but would have helped earlier with the really spicy chicken. Had to bring the chicken home and eat it with ice cream to soothe the burn.
The chicken banh mi and the spring rolls are to die for. The meat is so tender and succulent. I revisit this restaurant whenever I feel like Vietnamese
I've only ever ordered from here via pick-up and have had great experiences consistently. The broth for the pho is flavorful, and the spring rolls are very fresh. I find that a single order of pho and an order of spring rolls can serve two hungry people, making this place a great deal.
Really great, authentic place for pho in downtown Mountain View. We ordered your typical pho bowls with rare steak, beef tripe, etc and the flavors were good. We also ordered the spring roll and it was delicious. The only minor thing I didn’t like was when we ordered cafe sua da, it was not served in a Vietnamese phin filter but rather an already packaged drink (what?). Also, the price was a little expensive for 2 bowls of pho, a spring roll and 2 coffees. Overall, a good place for pho if you don’t want to drive all the way to San Jose.
Great service, so nice. The pho was excellent too: noodles were the right texture, and nice big pieces of selected meat.
Took me almost 30min to get 2 bowls of pho. I had to ask them and when I finally got an answer they didn’t even bother to say sorry for the wait.
Also loads of MSG in the broth and totally unseasoned meat.
Broth was lukewarm, chicken was dry, broth lacked flavor. Noodles were good and didn’t stick together. Lemonade was good.
