They are super friendly, the place has plenty of room, and a positive vibe. Prices are okay and did got plenty of menu options.

I was a bit disappointed with the pho broth, it's very muddy rather than clear.

If you’re in the area I’d definitely recommend pho van. I usually come in when they open. This place gets very busy so I’d recommend coming in early. They have a few more menu options than other pho places in the area.

This place was told to me that it brings a warm home food memory. It's absolutely amazing food

It was honestly, SO GOOD! We wanted to have some pho, just went to this place and it was amazing! It felt so homey and well done. The service was quick and friendly!

I've been here twice and the pho is just okay. The first time I ordered a pho dac biet large and the portions were definitely lacking. The broth tasted okay but is not especially flavorful. My second visit today confirmed that the broth is indeed very light and I had to add Sriacha to give it more flavor. I also ordered spring rolls and it tasted days old with a hard to chew rice wrapping. I personally do not like the spring roll sauce here either. It's okay for what it is but on the expensive side it's not really worth it to me.

OK, the food was excellent as it was the best Pho I ever had. Further, looking around I had noticed all the edges of the floor near the kitchen and overhead corners and everywhere it was spotless. The amount of work it takes for that level of cleanliness is award winning. Additionally, a person was appointed to solely watch all patrons and assign tasks to service hosts. The level of service provided matched the level of cleansliness and the food was served quickly, properly and tasted perfect. When a resteraunt tends to every detail in this manor and a tentative staff performs like an orchestra that is when you have found a special place.

I ordered the steak banh mi it was delicious well marinated meat full of flavor stuffed in a crispy and light baguette. My husband had the shrimp and broccoli and my parents a nice size bowl of pho.

The food here was REALLY good. The service was fast and it was a really short wait. High recommend this place.

I came in there. Not really knowing what to expect but it was more than I expected. The service was great. They sat me down right away. The food was very homey and comforting. Exactly what I wanted. So if your Vietnamese and you're wanting something the taste like home and feels like home come here. Definitely will come back again and again overall great experience and the food was amazing

We have been regulars for last 4-5 years. This is our go to! The service is amazing and attentive, the food has been consistent and delicious. I do need to mention that best times/days to come is weekday mornings. The staff always remembers our order and treat our child kindly each time. Love this place, especially the staff so much!

The beef they serve is not beef. It is DOG/Horse MEAT SOME TIMES IT IS BEEF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS BUT I HAVE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY AND THEIR SISTER COMPANIES I HAVE A DNA ANALYSIS FROM THEIR RESTAURANT AND IT CAME BACK ONE DAY AS DOG DNA 2 WEEKS LATER I WENT BACK AND IT CAME BACK AS HORSE DNA IF YOU GO THERE AND YOU ORDER BEEF AND BROCCOLI OR ANYTHING WITH BEEF YOU WILL NOTICED AT TIMES THEIR BEEF TASTE DIFFERENT EVEN LOOKS DIFFERENT HAVE A SIMILAR LOOK TO BEEF IMMEDIATELY AFTER TASTING YOU'LL KNOW IT IS NOT THE SAME THEY WILL MIX IT WITH BEEF GRAVY SAUCE I CAME TO THIS RESTAURANT A FEW TIMES AND LOVED THE FOOD ONE DAY THEIR BEEF AND BROCCOLI AND PHO BEEF SOUP TASTED COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AS USUAL SO I DID NOT EAT IT BUT BECAUSE THE FIRST TIME I CAME THERE IT WAS SO GOOD I FIGURED MAYBE THEIR BEEF THAT THEY COOKED WRONG OR HAD A DIFFERENT INGREDIENT I WENT BACK THE NEXT WEEK AND ORDERED THE SAME EXACT THING I NOTICED THE BEEF TEXTURE HAD A LOT OF FAT STRINGY FAT BUT THE TASTE WAS DIFFERENT AGAIN I PAID AGAIN BUT THIS TIME I COMPLAIN IT ASKING HOW COME THEIR FOOD TASTES SO DIFFERENT EVERY TIME The manager did not understand so he asked one of his employees to translate once when they translated. For some reason they began arguing with each other. The employee that spoken English was Vietnamese. That employee was upset because I guess his manager was saying something bad in his language. So the manager said he was give me a refund but do not come back. When he asked me not to come back I was upset. I noticed the other employee was upset as well. The employee made a comment saying something about dog meat. Another guest that speaks Vietnamese stands up and said you are feeding us dog meat I could not believe what I was hearing so I took a sample of the food in a to-go box. The manager was persisting not for me to take it because I did not pay for it. So I paid for it. I took it to a local laboratory here in San Diego and the meat in the beef and broccoli came back as dog meat. The meat and the soup came back as horse meat I notified the authorities. The authorities are not doing anything about it saying that the Laboratory I took the meat to could have made a mistake or I could have made up these documents. I asked the police detector to investigate and see that the laboratory is a human society laboratory instead. It is now been 30 days and I have not got any phone call back finding out. This is very popular in San Diego with Vietnamese people be careful of what you eat

Not only was this the best Vietnamese food I've ever had, it is some of the best FOOD I've ever had period. The pork vermicelli bowl was out of this world, best pork I've ever had. I appreciated too that when I went to order I pointed out the large and the server said that I should order the small one-which I did, and the portion was still HUGE. The pho was also insanely good, my boyfriend (who is not a small man by any means) got a small pho and it was plenty for him. Next time we could share one dish. Great food, great prices, fast service.

My first time there today. Pork&shrimp dumplings with your choice of noodles in a very tasty broth. I'll be back to try other menu items.

Really good choice for Vietnamese food. Don’t sleep on this place for breakfast, they open at 7: 30/8: 00AM
