Italian Restaurant Piatti reviews
17Piatti is a very cozy spot with delicious food. We went there for our date night, however I wouldn't recommend to come here for dates on the weekends if you are looking for a more intimate atmosphere. It gets so crowded that it's hard to walk without bumping into someone. Make your reservations at least a few days beforehand if you want to be seated to a comfortable table.
Good cocktails. The wild mushroom rotolo was the best thing at our table! FYI you have to pay for bread
Great food, incredible rear dining area under the tree.
The only issue is food is too small for regular sized, active people, but that really isn't an issue if you plan on getting dessert.
Great wine selection, pasta was good… service was a bit slow and not as attentive as it should but overall it’s a great place for pasta and wine.
Had dinner and drinks on the patio. Super pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, great good. Prices are very reasonable, considering the location
You should not go out to eat, and still be hungry. Surprised they didn't charge for my glass of water. Pasta was over cooked
I had lunch here and I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with the food and the drink. The water wasn't cold and had an unpleasant tap water aftertaste, in spite of the pretty presentation, and while the Ravioli Di Manzale was decent, the portion size was too small to justify the cost. I will note that I've grown up with homemade Italian food in my family, so maybe my standards were too high, but I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. It's vastly overpriced for what it is, and there are far tastier restaurants with better quality food up and down that street.
Forever a favorite. The patio is especially a favorite place, but there's no where that's bad seating. Consistent excellent food and service. Have been eating here for at least 4 decades.
Whenever in La Jolla, we always come here to eat. Food is always amazing. Try the house Chardonnay when there. It's amazing.
Love this place. The food is great. Super cheesy. The waiter had a sexy accent. Good service.
Worst food and service we had. Pricy and we both got sick.
Never go back to that place
Great place and the food was excellent, customer service was very good. I was greeted and had a great seat. Could not ask for a better 4th of July. Thank you
My guest couldn't stop raving about the restaurant from food to ambiance it was a beautiful experience
The food was way too salty, we told our server, and he just brushed it off. We left within 30 min.
Amazing Italian food, best I have tasted so far. I am vegetarian and the pasta and sauces were excellent.
This place has been around for ever, and quality has not decreased in my opinion. Last night they where very busy but things went smoothly. My only qualm was with the mussel apetizer. They where bit dry and lacking in flavour. Everything else was spot on and a vehicle to a wonderfull evening.
Loved this place! Found by searching for l I cation close to where we were staying in Torrey Pines. It was amazing, excellent food and service. The bread was fresh out of the oven and could have ruined our appetites, but didn't!
