Wines were good. Staff pouring the wine were not overly friendly - had a very "meh" attitude. One gentleman was pouring wine into other bottles, which seems to be common practice for them.and is a big no no. There are many reasons you never pour one alcohol from one bottle even into a similar bottle.

One of our stops while driving up the coast and was totally worth it. Loved the location and the wine pourers were super friendly and helpful. Had quite a few wines to choose from and our wine tastings were top notch.

We encountered very attentive and detailed staff during the wine tasting session, who provided thorough explanations. His introductions were highly professional and helped us make decisions about which wines to try. The wines were delicious, and the membership program felt like a great deal. The dessert wine Mission Angelica is truly impressive. Also they had outdoor seating that was perfect for picnics, and there was a nearby hiking trail. We really had a good time here and would definitely consider visiting again.

Great wines and peaceful grounds to enjoy them. All within a short drive from the south bay crowds.

Lots of picnic tables and outdoor space. Some is on a hill but great place to hang and try some wine

Very relaxing experience here. The winery open after 11am and it is the starting point of the natural trails. The picnic area is free to use and we saw lots of adults and kids here! You can bring your own food and beverage but not alcohol. Many people take a break here and go for the trail hiking afterwards.

The tasting room is not very fancy. I think most people would rather enjoy the outdoor.
You can buy wine here by glass or bottle. They also have wine club that you can join.

There should be peacocks around but we did not see them. I guess you have to be lucky?

Nice place to hang out with a group. Wine is good and the field has plenty of space to picnic.

It’s a beautiful place to hike, taste wine and to see peacock. We had a great time hiking and tracing peacocks. The ambience of winery is top notch

I enjoyed my lunch at the serene, shaded picnic area before heading into the wine tasting room. I was greeted by an old and calming smell that only comes from vintage brick buildings (I later learned that this building is one of the few brick buildings in California due to earthquake regulations) and from start to finish I was treated to a breathtaking experience. If you visit this winery, which I highly recommend, I would suggest going on Monday at noon because I had the entire place to myself. It was a magical experience. My sommelier was extremely patient and kind and seemed to enjoy chatting about wine, answering all of my questions, dispelling my preconceived and incorrect notions about wine, and adding factoids and history about the establishment and wine in general. I was served 5 different wines, offered notes on what to taste for, and given ideal food pairings. Every. Single. Wine. Was. Delicious. I tried wines that I historically thought I disliked but in their small batch, extremely high standards for barrelling lent a smooth balance for every wine I tried. I particularly liked their Zinfandel wine because not only do I like Zinfandel the best, their Zinfandel vineyards are over 100 years old. If I could spend the meager $20 to do it again, I would do it in a heartbeat. In fact, the next time I visit California, I will bring a checked bag just so I can bring some bottles back home. 10/10

Grab your picnic and come enjoy the nature and good wine at Picchetti. You can do a tasting inside or simply buy a bottle and bring it outside, where they have dozens of picnic tables and chairs spread in the grass. If you want more, the winery is located at the entrance of the hiking trail - there are multiple trails and the scenery is beautiful.

Last time I went here I had a very small get together and the owner came out and asked why we just had to have an event at her winery. Very unnecessarily rude from the get-go. We just got there, were being respectful of the space and weren’t doing anything wrong. Their website said small groups were fine and we followed all the rules. Regardless, she made it very clear that we were unwelcome.

The quality of wine you receive isn’t worth the price. At least they do heavy pours.
