What I loved the most is I could pick ingredients I wanted on my vegetarian pizza. Very tasty.

The pizza was delicious but the staff was very rude making faces at each other and talking back to me quite rude. Starting because I told him I wanted a pizza with a thick crust and he made it for me with the thin one, then I told him that I wanted both with onion and that I wanted to add pineapple to one and he told me but are you going to want the combo or not? (Name of the
Pizza). The pizza is good but for the attention I would not return.

Staffs are friendly and patient, especially to those whom are non-native speakers

Fast service. Great taste at good price, which is a rarity in shopping outlets. Really liked the customized options. Will go there again.

Pieology is a a pretty great pizza chain — I had it for my first time at the citadel outlets because they looked really good. It reminds me of Blaze Pizza — in terms of their kitchen and the way they firm their lines and make their pizza. I think pieology has slightly better quality crust than blaze, having tried both only once before and going off of my first impression. Pieology has two different kinds of crusts - thin crust and the thick raised crust, we got the fire grilled bbq chicken thin crust pizza this time. It was good - warm, fresh, oven heated and made on the spot. Honestly for a chain and outlet food court this was really good!
There was a hiccup though — I asked for the pizza to not have bbq sauce, because I feel like bbq sauce tends to be overdone on the pizza and i prefer it with less and I didn’t want the pizza to be smeared with a ton of bbq sauce so I asked for none instead of ‘just a little’ to make the hassle less. I felt like this was a valid request and the lady who made my pizza said they could accommodate that which was nice. However after 10 minutes we went back the pizza had a bbq sauce on it; it was a little too much over the pizza (in my opinion) otherwise I would’ve just taken it. They said they could remake it for us but the guy who took back our pizza made a comment to the cashier and it made us uncomfortable because of the tone / attitude. They mentioned that the pizza clearly says ‘bbq chicken’ so of course there’d be bbq sauce, but I had specifically asked for no sauce. I think they were just annoyed but the exchange was really uncomfortable and did not give off the best customer service vibes. I understand their view point but it was overall just an awkward and uncomfortable situation and they did remake it but it influenced my review for this location specifically.
