Pilot Travel Center reviews
15 And then Otay Mesa, CA said let there be no chair, bench or seat to sit on outside, and it was so. But really. Everything is ok but where is there to sit outside to enjoy the perfect weather? Had to sit on a curb. Them curbs are great to do push-ups on though;
-1 star no outside seats. Not even across the road
It was ok. I went looking for a CB power cord and antenna. They had them. It was super expensive! Didn't purchase anything!
Worst truck stop ever yeah they may have just remodeled but the people running this are from TJ and they have no business working in the United States they Park their vehicles have four or five people living out of their vehicles in the back parking lots and all over the property the tow truck guy is from TJ also is staying on the property because it's his girlfriend which is also funny because she works at Wendy's.goes around harassing people who spend hundreds of dollars in fuel laundry money showers plus purchasing food there they grabbed a quick nap before they have to get back on the road again this place is a joke nowhere in my life have I seen a truck stop try to make you pay 15 to $20 to park for a couple hours nap before you have to get back on the road again ridiculous and when you ask what is going on they just say you have to follow our rules because we're so close to Mexico we go by our rules not the state of California or the United States.go to a different truck stop do not go to this one.
If I could give no stars I could this is the worst truck stop ever I spentd over $100.00 in fuel, food, showers, plus much more the people that run this are from Mexico and they don't abide by California law at all only there's you have to pay $15.00 just to sleep there for a few hours before I go back on the road or the tow truck driver will harass you and tell you that you have to move when yet his girlfriend that works at the Wendy's there sleeps in a van in the back but yet we have to move I would suggest not going to this truck stop at all get your fuel and other things else where they are a very bad unprofessional business
Very crowded little truck stop.brand new remodeled bathrooms, showers, and Wendy’s restaurant.this place isn’t my first choice but has more to do with the underpaid angry drivers aggressively speeding through the parking lot.the workers in the store were awesome and i definitely had to tip the shower cleaning staff.
Loving the newly remodeled bathrooms, very clean and plenty of stalls that have a proper door with no cracks for people to look through while you do your business.
We parked up here for 5 days 4th of July weekend. Super clean truck stop. Staff is in women’s bathroom routinely cleaning and mopping. Showers were visibly clean and not built up grime around the floors or shower. Great coffee!
I have to update my review. Since the remodel some things are better but others are worse. They have more people working there than I have ever seen working at a gas station before but none of them know how to heat up the breakfast sandwiches. Either they are so overheated that all of the cheese has melted out of the sandwich and the wrapper is so stuck to the biscuit that you can't remove it or, like today, it is so under heated that the egg is cold and the cheese isn't even melted.
Second, they got rid of the donuts and replaced it with Cin-a-bon. So instead of having 10 different donuts to pick from for $2 not my only choice is a $5 cinnamon bun? How does that make sense.
$18 showers. 30 min wait at midnite w cashiers on break n dirty showers. Wuts parking now $30?
Is ur coffe gonna b more expensive than starbucks too?
Stick w truck net, its a $12 shower if u r not fueling. The taco shop's food inside trucks net has no comparison as far as wut u can get in a truck stop here in this area w/o walking. I have not tried out the food trucks.
Great staff! The store looks great after the remodeling! Good parking area, could use another handicap parking stall up there but grateful you even have one, thank you!
This used to be my go-to place for gas, but they recently slowed down the pumps so you have to stand there and listen to their commercials. Takes 15-20 minutes to fill your tank. I’ve found another place to buy fuel.
Great newer Pilot. Clean. Friendly. Parking is level and pretty good. Felt fairly safe here even in middle of night.
It is a great and safe place to get gas. The gas is reasonably priced. The customer service is great at the location. The pilot reward card can get you a discount on gas.
One of the best pilots. It's currently under construction so there is a wait for showers, but the place is very clean and the Wendy's is 24/7. Truckers: if you're doing a 34 hour here I recommend ordering El Rincon on GrubHub.absolutely delicious food!
Also! If you're going to be a late arrival. Make sure you Reserve a spot.this place gets full quickly!
3 days with lines for diesel bad service they cannot fix diesel pumps there is no order or organization on the part of the managers the trailer drivers are always getting in the way washing trucks at the diesel pumps
