I lived at Pine at 6 for about 11 months and although the apartment itself was renovated and living in downtown was nice, I can not say the same about the care or professionalism that the leasing office fostered. On our move in date, the assistant leasing manager had told us to fill out written paperwork and scan it in so that on move in day, we could just get the keys. Turns out this information was so far from true, leaving my roomate to have to call me out of surgery to fill out the paperwork online because they needed both our signatures. It is no surprise that randomly he just no longer worked there anymore. No notice of change in management was given to the tenants. He was just randomly not there anymore which just shows how shady the leasing office/ managment moves.

The leasing office is often times not responsive and when I had complaints about my neighbors they did nothing as typical, sometimes would not even repsond to my emails. And they are often not in the office.

The property always smells like dog feces and the cleaning lady does her best but the truth is the management needs to hire more cleaners. But again they dont care.

The maintenance guy does respond quickly to requests and I can acknowledge that.

All the leasing office cares about is you paying your rent on time.

Fast forward to moving out,
My roomate and I are waiting around for a our deposit back only to find out that they used that deoposit money already and somehow we owe them money. When the only charges we were informed about were painting and resurfacing of counters which did not equal the total of the deposit.
Now mind you we moved in to a renovated unit, thus there should be little to no renovations that need to be charged for. But again the leasing office never communicates what they are doing until YOU have to ask them about it.it honeslty should be called "Shady at Pine"

Every one at the leasing office is friendly for sure but the way they handle business is below sub par and for that
I would not reccomend anyone to live here.
I really do believe they could and should do better for their tenants.

One of the best things about living here is the walls are not thin. Sure are you will hear some apartment noise. But if you lived in an apartment where you can hear your neighbor think you know how annoying that is! This is not that which is definitely exciting.

The other good thing is maintenance responds really quickly. They do a great job of taking care of anything you might need in the apartment and they are super nice and helpful, which is also amazing.

The problem is the property is not at all clean. My unit wasn’t very clean when I moved in but I always have cleaners on deck anyway. So it is what it is. But the property is always dirty! There are flies everywhere! Dog poop, and pee Everywhere. The elevators are disgusting! One of the buttons on the elevator by the mailbox has had a button broken since I moved in the end of May. The parking lots is always dirty. You always have this feeling that you need hand sanitizer at the ready whenever you walk the property.

I’ve only seen someone clean the property twice in the three months I’ve been here. One time she was cleaning the grill. The other time she was spraying deodorizer to get rid of the smell of dog pee.

You can deck out your apartment make it pretty nice though. Pretty spacious for downtown Long Beach apartment. I do think we’re paying way too much for this property to be this dirty though.

I am so shocked reading this reviews. Every time I visit the office it is always pleasant. The girls in there are wonderful. I just met a new person the assistant manager I believe and she was very helpful with accessing my code to my apartment door as I locked myself out by mistake. I am new to Long Beach and since my very first visit this girls have made me feel like I belong here. Thank you so much Pine at 6.

Smells like urine. The management does not like interacting with customers. Do not try to move here.

Made an appointment to meet at the leasing office.
I showed up on time to the leasing office and the leasing office was closed. I waited around an additional 15 minutes while leaving 2 voicemails and texted without receiving a response. Completely unprofessional. If this is the way their leasing office handles appointments, can't see why I'd bother leasing here. PASS.

We have lived in Pine at 6th for over a year. We really liked the place and our unit, and have lived there peacefully. The people at Pine at 6th is what makes the stay worthwhile. The leasing team/ office staff are all approachable and professional, and they readily respond to our concerns. While the maintenance team is also nice and quick to resolve any maintenance issues. They all do their job well. We enjoyed our stay here and really appreciate the whole team who makes Pine!

If you want your packages stolen, you've found the right place. I've had MULTIPLE packages stolen and management won't do anything about it. I've talked to other residents and they are having the same issue with missing packages. There are cameras in the mailroom but apparently they don't work. The only good thing I would say about this place is the maintenance guys are very friendly and helpful, but as I'm writing this I'm realizing I shouldn't have to constantly make maintenance requests.
