Okay, if last resort, go to Pio Pico but you're being warned: ancient full hookups, minimal upkeep of the sites, abysmal cell phone coverage, park rangers enticing you to purchase 3rd party internet service (somehow this particular 3rd party brings great coverage for $$$ ‍️), and a 17 minute drive to civilization.

There is no cell signal, not a lot of 50 amp spots available, some of the lights are broken and it's a hit or miss with staff.

It could be so much better if all staff were polite, they fixed the broken lights and had staff direct/assign people to a spot, but no, you have small trialers taking the 50 amp spots for no reason. Also, I don't see the point in having four staff members in the check-in standing around, chatting, when they could do some actual work.

Went for a b-day party. Had a blast. There's a pool, horseshoe pit, trails to ride, and a wonderful place to spend time with friends and family. Beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and no cell service. A great place to get away from it all.

Ok. Feel like second class citizens in overflow section across the road. Seems like people are living there, as rush hour is a real thing at 7 in the morning! Someone knocked on our door at 2 in the morning wanting the gate code. Drunk. Was surprised I wasn't her 'buddy'.

Absolutely Horrible experience do to the staff and Managment. Won't go into detail but I have stayed at many of the Thousand Trails RV parks and never had anything close to what this park put us through.

Love this TT campground. Set in a beautiful mountain type area, but close to town if needed. The only down side is that the campground is on 2 different sides of the road with the North side not having any sewer hookups. There is a dump station though. Not a deal breaker, just an inconvenience.

Despite what others may say about Pio Pico we enjoyed our stay from the pool, to the hot tub, to the activity center. No cell signal so this is a good way to disconnect from technology and enjoy the outdoors. There is free wifi at the activity center, however, it kicks you off every 5 to 10 minutes. They do offer WiFi for $3.95 a day, $11 for three days, and $50 for two weeks.

This place was. OK. Not the best, though. No cell service at all and I got allergies on the trip. But, overall, good.

Joined the Thousand Trails family here. It was flooded and pouring rain but still a great place to stay with the kids. Mini golf and ping pong kept us occupied for days.

It's a quiet nice park tucked away in between the mountains, and just a couple miles from hwy 94. The place has everything you need to have a great experience.

We have been coming to Pio Pico RV Preserve & Campground for about 7 winters. We love it here. The Rangers are all wonderful, as is the Administrative staff.
Special thanks to Rangers Lili, Charlene, Joseph, Christy and Joanna; and Admin staff Frank, Lisa Hernandez and Janet.
You are the BEST!

I had a great time. It was a quiet and relaxing week. Met some new people, the campground and cabins were super clean. I always love coming here

Most horrible place I've ever had to camp at. Haven't been back to a Thousand Trails Campground since June 2018 and my daughter is a member. Just can't believe we were treated like common trash with no membership and we were members!
