Pioneer Park reviews
11I mean it's a landmark that is impossible to miss, so go visit it! Park down on the street and take a cute easy hike up. It is a rare place where you can stand in one spot and see good views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge by simply turning 180 degrees.
I went up the east side stair case. It was a hard climb. I went back down the west side and It would have been easier. Nothing much to see from up there. Down town views are blocked by trees.
I always bring visiting family/friends here to enjoy the breathtaking 360° views. My favorite low key spot to chill n smoke without the worries of being harassed by anybody. P
Cute! There is a public restroom (yay) and there’s a an amazing view of the city and Golden Gate from Coit. It’s stunning at night, as well. Sadly, elevator and building are closed during the pandemic, so you can’t go in, but still a great visit.
Home of Coit Tower and 300 degree view of the City. Always a parking spot. French style (the self cleaning, green ones) bathroom. So hard to find in Covid-19 times. Views of ALCATRAZ State Park, GG and Bay Bridge, angel Island, Sausalito and Marin County. Fantastic statue that is the center of the parking area. Always a breeze.
The park might seem small amd packed durring busy times. However if you get a chance to be there when its a bit empty. It really is a memorizing place to look around. The park in the back is absosluly calming.
Wonderful views of the city and bay. If you are walking it is a leg muscle work out. There is very limited free parking. There is a self cleaning toilet. Due to covid the museum was closed. The tree's are over grown so the pay telescopes are pointless. Great place to come and grab a lunch for the views. I would come back again.
Just ok. It cost $9 to go to the top. Would have been better if all the windows were open. The gentleman at the top was a bit rude. Views were good.
Beautiful place to take pictures of the city, specially on a sunny day! You can see both bridges and Alcatraz. There’s a path with many stairs to go up and down but also you can get to the top by car.
One of the best place to look at the view on piers and the golden gate bridge. I visit this place everytime I come to SF. Coit tower is also a great place.
