It was amazing to eat their my twin, mother and myself had the 2lbs head on shrimp mild, Cajun fries, & fish tacos the server we had was polite, kind & overall a good server atmosphere was great since we got their around 1 their were surprisingly not that many people for our first time there the fries were good & so we're the tacos but the shrimp was amazing & the sauce it was in was delicious my mother thought it was too spicy but my twin & I talked about getting a higher spice level next time we discussed & will definitely be coming back in the future

Great placebif you want to change it up from Bolling crab. It's different and I recommend it!

Ben was a bit of a jerk. Waitress forgot to serve a few of our members at the table. Items were forgotten.

Our server was an absolute delight and so patient with our large group.

Ordered the lunch special pricing of 2 pounds of head on shrimp for $20 dollars (11-3pm) and a bunch of sides to go with it.

This low-key Cajun seafood restaurant definitely beats out boiling crab and claws in flavor and service.

Do yourself a favor and order the full house seasoning with medium heat and go straight for Cajun fries as your carb.

Parking on a weekend is a nightmare but this place was totally worth the aggravation.

The food was exceptional and the drink prices even better. WE had Ben as our waiter, and it was by far some of the best service I have ever received. He was very attentive, extremely helpful, awesome to talk with, and just all-around fantastic at his job. We will be back because of Ben!

You naughty pirate! Where'd you hide that booty?

Pirates Kitchen is a seafood boil restaurant, open late. Having never been before, late night cravings called for a first time visit.

Tacos (4 for $9, w/ chips & guacamole) -
Can't pass this deal up! 4 tacos (choice of shrimp, carne asada or fish. Cannot mix & match), chips & guacamole. Perfect way to fill up on the cheap. The tacos were amply filled with the desired protein & pico de gallo. Good stuff.

1 lb shrimp (medium Full House) -
Customers can have shrimp head-on or headless & peeled. Although, why would anyone pass up on all the head brains & fat is beyond me. Full House is a combination of all the sauces (garlic butter, lemon pepper & PK sauce). Medium was just the right amount of heat. Each shrimp was large, tender & great tasting.

Service was good. The wait wasn't long, and the attendant came by to check a few times. Ample seating, the interior has a pirate/ocean motif. Parking is via a shared lot. Pirates Kitchen is located at the Artesia City Plaza, located on the left of La Tavolata.

They had me at tacos. Pirates Kitchen is a great local late night food option. Their tacos are hard to pass up, and I'm already craving more. Their shrimp boil is no slouch, either. Pirates Kitchen has added itself on my rotation list for places to eat.

First time with family, food is so good and tasty, better than boiling Crab, specially the chipotle Mayo sauce.mmmmm! The clamchowder was terrific, the shrimp and fried rice was good too! Our server was Tanya I really want to give her 10. The only thing I saw was understaff and if you are very hungry bring a good patience drink with you, the wait is over and hour, the girls have to run back and for to help as much they can, but their friendly smile attitude was amazing and efficiency was exceptional we didn't wait to long for food to be served. I highly recommend this place to eat is really good.

So, I rarely complain but here you go! The king crab was tiny, … so to the point that we had to decline it. WOW! Literal regular crab legs. Never have I been served king crab in the form of regular crab legs, …. Must of thought we were stupid. Gave us the rest of our order (shrimp, sausage, potatoes, etc…) and we sat there with it for over 15 minutes without my rice. Server promised us a free pound of their skinny crab in lue of us being disappointed by the size and later Informed us that could not. So we sat there waiting on expectations that we’re all bogus. Save your money for some real king crab and service and go elsewhere!

At this moment, it has been 1 hour since I entered the restaurant and they have not brought my order. They are very friendly, but it takes too long to prepare a simple dish (shrimp alone).

Had fun here the food was great but came out McDonald's coffee hot so wait a minute or two before digging in.
It's great atmosphere and i define give 5 stars out to just any restaurant.
