Pismo Sands RV Resort, Oceano CA

We stayed at the Pismo Sands RV resort in November of 2022. This resort was not as advertised and not as advertised on the website the bathrooms at this resort were absolutely disgusting and despicable.
Nothing worked in the bathroom toilets showers no hot water day to day some days there was some days there wasn't complete gong Show. The sites were very close together they are called buddy sites but there was no space at all very tightly packed would definitely not go back to this resort not worth the money they were charging to stay there there is better.

No better place to stay on the California coast. Very clean, close to everything and facilities and staff are awesome!

Stay here long term and have nothing but good things to say, however the thanksgiving crowd had some bad eggs. People staying in the park invite company and tell them to park inside. Then other campers who are in the park do not have a place to park. Visitors driving to fast (just a matter of time before some kid on a bike is run over). A group of kids were not supervised, up in other peoples sites, cutting through sites and causing damage.

We have gone here for many years, but don't think I will return. Too loud at night and filled with children who are disrespectful and cannot follow rules.

I love this RV park. Beautiful grassy sites. Fantastic amenities. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. This park is kept very clean and is a hidden gem.

We had an amazing weekend getaway! This place is so clean and well kept and there was so much for my kids to do. They had so much fun we can’t wait to return.

Great campsites! The grounds are well maintained and camping prices are reasonable considering the great location.

Cozy, quiet park. Wasn't sure about the buddy site setup, but we had plenty of our own space. Utilities worked fine, but Wi-Fi was very slow and inconsistent (took a star off because of this). T-Mobile data is practically unusable despite there being 5G. Pool was nice and warm. Nice atmosphere. Overall, would recommend.

Stayed in cottages so fun.great with groups and family time lots of things to do. Dog friendly.

The staff at This Resort are GREAT, Christina, the manager is Always available for any questions. The office staff are welcoming and the janitorial and maintenance staff are constantly making sure our camp site has everything we need️️

I don’t usually write negative reviews but I feel that this one needs doing. This is our second stay in this park and we just had two e-bikes stolen that are valued at over $9,000. There is no functioning security here and the sheriff who made the report told us that he is in this park once or twice a month for the same problem with bikes. We were not given any heads up by management and of course they
take no responsibility. I imagine that is pretty standard but a stern warning would have been appreciated. Just be warned if you have bikes and plan to stay here.

In the response from management with regard to this review we were told to be sure and keep our bikes locked up at all times. Guess what? They were locked to the wheel of our coach with a cable which was neatly cut in two. Grrrr!

As for their claim of efforts to increase security my husband was told by the office staff that added security would mean added cost to the campers so I feel that the owners response was lip service to appease the readers and not much more.

My husband and I were told that they would not rent a space to us for more then 30 days because we "reside" locally even though we are only local because of schooling. Just don't understand when i know other locals are able to rent spaces for longer the 30 days at a time. I thought supporting local businesses and people was what were trying to do?

Made reservation over 3 months out. We have a 5th wheel at 35 ft w/ 3 slides. Our space was way to small compared to other sites. We reserved for a month and felt a better site should have been assigned. Noticed many sites that were bigger sat unattended for many days but they said they couldn't move us.
Otherwise this is a great place to stay and yes, we will go back if necessary.

This RV park is nice. Vivian was very friendly and helpful when I booked our site. The pool area was clean and the hot tub felt so relaxing. The bathrooms are also clean and showers too. The game room looked fun. Each site shares a firepit and grassy area. We will definetly be returning.
