Pista House / Amber India Milpitas

Ordered boneless chicken biryani and mutton biryani today. Chicken biryani was okay, mutton biryani was horrible. It was not cooked properly, i can smell the raw meet and i can see the pink flesh. I won't try Pista House again.

Charged twice for my order and on checking agreed to refund the extra charges. Its been 1 month and I still haven’t received refund yet

Bought Haleem recently. Really worst and too costly.we didn’t find anything in that Haleem except wheat chunks.

The weekend buffet is one of the best
The owner is always there managing the floor
The heat levels are very manageable, they use flavorful spices and herbs instead of the usual red and green chilies
All the dishes are flavorful with just the right amount of heat
The dosa service is a big plus, I ate the chicken and goat curries with dosa instead of roti
I can not recommend this place enough for the service, quality and thoughtful menu reflecting Hyderabadi cuisine

Very neat and convenient restaurant. They serve generous portions and for affordable rates. I liked the menu a lot and the waiters were super affable and chatty. Recommended.

Hidden gem: food is so good here. Lots of variety in the buffet. The pani puri was really awesome, better than any chaat place. Every dish is great.well today sweet dish was not perfect but everything else was. If you like goat, go on Fridays.they have goat, lamb, chicken. Multiple dishes and everything is tasty.

Not the pista house I visited a year ago. Cold salty food. No more serving at table. Traditional buffet style. Don't waste your money.

Very happy with catering and the numerous occasions we have dined in at this restaurant. We have also gotten great service in their party halls on both parties hosted at their location

Worst experience with Friday lunch buffet. Really I feel not a freshly cooked food. Better stay away do not feel sick.

Went there for lunch buffet on Sunday at 11.45 as early as possible to have a hot and satisfying lunch. Everything was looking pretty until we tasted the food. It was cold as ice, chicken tasteless and other things being the same. To my surprise I thought the food would be fresh and eatable but nooooo. I even spat after I tasted a mutton starter. After I told a staff member she then heated up everything but till then my interest from that food was vanished already. To the pista house management, if you're reading my post here try to improve and think from a customers perspective or you will lose your customers and finally you will lose business.

After missing Hyderabad haleem for almost 4 years I should say I got happy tears in my eyes having this. Tasted awesome. Rich of ghee and meat. Tasted amazing.happy to have it

Very poor customer service. Ordered 9 Haleem plates. Asked me to give them 45 minutes. Came back after 45 minutes and was informed that the order was misplaced. Made us wait for another 30 minutes. Finally after waiting for so long the Haleem was rotten. The moment I reached home and opened the seal, the whole room started to smell. Tried calling them back but no one answered. Wasted almost 150$ for rotten and smelly Haleem. Hope they learn from this review and stop fooling customers.

Good Hyderabadadi Hotel. Chicken Tandoori and chicken 65 was good. Got chicken biriyani, felt biriyani was not fresh (chicken smelled old) may be I ordered on weekday (Tuesday). Apart appetiser were good.

Asli Hyderabadi biryani boss (Authentic Hyderabad biryani) is served here. The haleem was made to perfection. Just mouth watering biryani. I tried all versions of it.

Irresponsible management and doesn't know the menu at all. Food which prepared couple days before was served for to-go order and the management started covering it up when I noticed it immediately. Serious action would be taken for sure on this issue. Hope no-one else ever face it.

This place used to have good food 2 years ago. Every time I come here quality and service keeps going down. Now the buffet is self service and no one even cares that you are in the restaurant, have to go and keep asking for any service you need even thought there is no crowd. I am never coming back here again.

Slow service n don't attend to diners who are is midst of their meal. U r left at their mercy of attention.to get ur food to be filled r served

Whatever we ordered tasted good though haleem didn't taste like the one in Hyderabad but it was decent. Service was good and ambience is okay.

Happen and biriyani is nice. Buffet lunch is not worth 17$. They serve you the food and they don't provide you the menu.
