Our favourite place to have very high quality food and very family friendly atmosphere for a reasonable price. Always clean and accommodating. We are driving all the way from San Marcos to enjoy this Mediterranean delight! 10 out of 10

Went to Pita 22 for the first time this morning for breakfast and it was delicious! Shakshuka plate came with potatoes, cucumber salad, hummus, labneh and a choice of pita or challah. The pita was good but the challah looked so great coming out of the oven that is what I'll be getting next time. Spinach and cheese bureka was also very tasty! Great service and nice, quiet atmosphere early Saturday morning.

Wow this place is just delicious! The service is excellent and Jessica could not be more welcoming. The salads are unbelievably fresh, pita is so fluffy and the bourekas are to die for! Run, don’t walk!

The food here is unbelievable. It’s a casual spot that my family found on a visit to San Diego. I wish we lived nearby. I’d eat here all the time. They had a menu item that was breakfast only. I didn’t know that. They were nice enough to make it for me anyways. Delicious spot. Israeli salad was a crowd favorite for us.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The hummus and falafel are exceptional, and the pita is consistently soft and fresh. The variety of salads is fantastic, and I couldn't find a flaw in anything. The service is excellent, making it a top-notch dining experience. Highly recommend!

Food is amazing with a number of different spices used to complement their delicious chicken and falafel. The eggplant, salads, cauliflower, quinoa, and falafel are on the mark and make this a vegetarian Mecca. The restaurant is clean and Jessica and staff are welcoming providing outstanding service. End your visit with the baklava as everything at this restaurant is made from scratch.

Edit: 3yr update - still one of my favorite places to eat in SD.

PLEASE SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! So much better than the grill that was here before. I tried everything, the chicken shawarma sandwich is literally as good as you will find anywhere- and I have had A LOT of shawarma and döner in my life. Pita bread is so soft and fresh, salads and falafel and hummus were all bomb. Fast and reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped here for lunch today and left super impressed and full. The food was delicious, fresh and just tasted well prepared. It came out quick and the pitas were warm and divine!

Wow it was delicious! I really don't like trying new places but this I won't regret trying.the taste is so fresh and delicious especially their bread! Price is perfect and the manager Jessica was so sweet and professional and so patient describing every flavor, detail, and name of our order sooo worth coming back for sure!

We came here on a super busy day and our order was messed up. The food is super good and we were bummed. They fixed the problem for us and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. They really want to make sure you leave happy and full. The food is amazing and I wish I lived closer because I would frequent this place all the time.

First time here and gooood this place did not disappoint whatsoever. The quality of the food is amazing. I got the Shakshouka Hummas Which I highly recommend, Will be coming back!: P

Arrived on Sunday morning and we had the Breakfast which served (unfortunately) only on Saturdays and Sunday. Has the Eggs Benedict it was the best one I’ve had in my life! Check the photos, highly recommended

I ordered the chicken shawarma pita and it was great! Only mild complaint was that all the veggies were at the bottom of the pita and not mixed across the pita. The chicken and pita here are much better than similar restaurants I've visited

The reason for the 3 star rating was the disappointment In the food presentation.
Served on Paper plates? Fries covered with the protein, making fries soggy. Bread, sides and entree, all coming out at three different times/trips, kinda weird. Bring the meal out at the same time, not 2-3 minute intervals. I only ordered one plate and one Al a carte item. From what I could see, everyone else in restaurant got food served on actual plates/bowls. Otherwise, food was good as usual, just presented poorly!

A little bit more expensive than your normal lunch, but well worth the price. Everything was absolutely delicious!
