19Overcrowded, people standing up because there's not enough chairs for everyone, waiting time to hours, DMV need to improve service costumers, a simple solution will be to add couple more machines so people can self pay for their own registrations and get their own stickers so line go faster, And improve the access to the building there's only one entrance and one exit that is a hazard have you thought about an emergency how are thinking to evacuate all that amount of people through that little door especially because you don't have emergency exits sign
I went in today to helped my dad to retake his tests the lady in blonde hair number 14 she was genuinely rude towards me and my dad. I had asked if she can give us a written test in papers my dad has hard time using electronics but she was telling us " does he use smart phone is the same thing " we have never had anybody asked him to do on a computer he normally always does things in papers while we wait until open availability when there are seats available she made us wait when there no line she need to work better on customer service I did not like that attitude of hers.
It was horrible, no direction as to how to start which line for what. I ended up going back in to the line three times. Fir something that could have been done once.
Service was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had no appointment and needed to renew my license. Total time 1 hour 25 minutes.
DMV in Piitsburg, although the wait was a long, when my number was called to a designated window, the DMV staff who waited on me was pleasant and very understanding, motherly, it made my day less hectic, thank you so kindly window #7
Went there twice. The lady who was checking me in didn't understand what I needed. Didn't help told me she can't help me. Went to dmv concord. Above n beyond help now that's customer service.
Guy that checked me in was really nice and so was the guy who assisted me in doing my CDL renewal. Was impressed how fast people moved through there. UNIMPRESSED that DMV CDL renewal system was down Friday and Monday STATEWIDE and no text was sent by DMV to people with appointments so we didn’t show up only to be turned away. I blame Gavin Newsom for that. Gavin gets the usual ZERO. Thank you Pittsburg DMV workers and check-in guy who provided me with a return appointment for Tuesday to renew my license.
Everytime you go.get a different answer on what's needed to register and do a title change for out of state vehicle. Very frustrating.
Honestly best experience with a DMV. I was in and out within 30 minutes for a driving test. I am so amazed. There was almost no one in line, and there was someone at every window and someone to watch over. I was honestly impressed with how joyful the workers were. Most of the time at DMV (I've gone to quite a few over the years) and I always run into some sort of issue and run into someone who has a attitude or just doesn't seem to want to be there. I already decided if I need something done I'm going here. Thanks guys! Awesome experience!
Had an appointment still had to wait an hour to see someone. What's the point of an appointment if you still get called by number?
CA DMV really needs to rethink front line operations.
Smells, moldy, Air condition is barley on, the teller is always talking about her hot flashes, some guy brought his dog in. This is where people go to die. Any ways 10 out of 10 would never go back again.
Over 170 people in the building. Crowded and smelled like weed. Had an appt. Waited in three separate lines. It took about 1.5 hours to get a real CA ID. The employees were all really nice. Make sure you do an application online and bring your needed documents.

Not the Best and the lady who helped me Laqualla was very rude snappy and Grouchy not to mention she was racist to another Customer THIS IS AMERICA WE DONT GOT TRANSLATORS So Unprofessional a customer could not speak English and the little bit that they knew they asked if they can have a translator she was very rude unprofessional and like I said in the beginning Snappy if you get a woman African American black tongue deep voice be warned she's fairly rude and not the kindest
I hate this place! Over crowded and takes forever just to do a simple thing. And good lord if you have to register your car! They need to open more locations
Okay people. The DMV is not as bad as we say it is. Pittsburg DMV is pretty good The people who work there are very friendly and very patient and very helpful And they actually work together to get you out of there as fast as they can.
Took daughter to get cal ID. She planned ahead and had a reservation. Service was fast and efficient even though the place was packed.

Good service that I received today 1/17/23. I probably waited less than 30 minutes then I am done with DL renewal. Thank you for the staff that help me today.
