Pizza Port Ocean Beach reviews
14Absolutely one of my favorite pizza joints ever. Their beer is top notch. Every little detail of this place is inviting and enjoyable. Lines are never too long and service is always superb!
Pizza is not it's former glory anymore. Just meh. Beer is good still. Covid patio tent outside is nice and much better than prior covid and hundred people squeezed inside.
Loved the beer and that’s about it really. Spent a good amount with my family for dinner. Service was great, no problem there. Location awesome. Food.ehh. Ordered salad (family size) looks plain, nothing mixed together basically zero effort in presentation. Wings were mushy, not hot enough couldn’t even grab them. Pizza not fully cut making it fall apart when you had to tear apart by hand. Not that great of an effort in my honest opinion. Too many corners are being cut. P.s. I actually have been working in the food business for many years and I only post rating when I’m truly disappointed with the food. Small changes can definitely make this place amazing but until then. 2 stars in my book.
Love the pizza here! Only thing better is their BEER SELECTION! Manager Chris is THE MAN too!

They close at 10 but stopped serving food at 9. The website doesn't mention that. I went there for spaghetti but it wasn't on the menu inside restaurant. Basically a pizza and beer joint. I walked in, found out the kitchen was closed, turned around and walked out
This is one of my favorite Pizza Port locations. Staff is always very friendly and fast with getting orders out.
Amazing pizza. Excellent caesar salad. Chicken wings were top notch. Fun vibe. You can’t go wrong.
Great food and atmosphere but would be so much better if getting a beer didn’t require a 30 minute wait in line. Please get some more bartenders. I ordered a 10 oz sour beer and as I tried to order a second I was told only one drink per person. I then proceeded to watch a group of youngsters all order a pitcher a piece… I guess that’s the trick but seems like some failed logic. I ate my pizza with no beer and just watched as the line continued to grow longer and longer. Get it together guys or the locals will stop coming.
Parking was a hassle but that's not the brewery's fault. Everything else about our overall experience was great. Tasty pizza & good beers. Liked it so much we went back a second time in the 3 nights we were in town. Would definitely come back again.
During our visit to San Diego, this was by far the best brewery we went to. A vast selection of well crafted beer for a very good price. They have a $3 special of the day which is very hard to come by these days and it was excellent.
Love the atmosphere! Has a very mixed crowed where both young and old enjoy the delicious food. The pizza was amazing and fully customizable! Wings had a decent crunch and the sauce waa flavorful. The arcade games added the perferct touch and gave a bit of 90s nostalgia as well!
Pretty good wings the pizza too but I fell that it had a little too much of everything specially the sauce and the cheese so if you like your pizza cheesy this is the place
Bbq chicken pizza & classic wings were so good & fresh! They have a wide variety of IPAs to chose from. Great vibe & cool music! We will be Back!
Good at making pizza and brewing beer. This place gets super busy on a weekend, expect 1hr wait times during peak hours. That's ok. The pizza is really tasty and you can share a pitcher in the meantime. I like the Pizza Port Honey Blonde Ale which is light n smoothe and has no weird taste. Some classic and some creative specialty pizzas. Dont like specialty? Cheese pizza is ooey-gooey goodness. They load you up on toppings but not to the point of weighing down each individual slice, they've got their ratios down. Crust is crispy outside with a little fluff to it, a little sweetness as well. No complaints about the sauce, it works nice between the crust and toppings.
