Mia was nothing short of AMAZING! I hired her to take pictures when I proposed to my girlfriend in San Diego. I'm from Seattle and knew nothing about the area or what I should do for the surprise. Mia helped me everything from location, clothing and even a second location once our first spot got rained out. Her pictures that she was able to capture were STUNNING. I would recommend her a million times over!

As someone that is from out of state and was looking for a local photographer that could help me plan and set up an amazing proposal and photoshoot, I don’t think I could have found anyone better than Mia. She began giving ideas and sending me potential locations right off the bat when I had sent the first email inquiring about what I was looking for and availability. That’s how I knew I was dealing someone who was knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. She helped me plan every thing from which spot I was going to propose at to what outfits we could wear for the photoshoot. Excellent all around experience! Her website was thorough and easy to understand. She was on time, polite, knowledgeable and energetic. She has experience working courthouse weddings which made it much easier and less stressful for us. She was almost a mini wedding planner for the day! She took gorgeous photos and incorporated the scenic bay, boardwalk and down town areas. Highly recommend!

My fiancée and I won a free engagement photo shoot from PKA photography on May 1,2022 at the bridal expo. Mia, the owner of PKA photography was friendly and flexible on the time that we need to schedule the photo shoot. The voucher was only supposed to be good for 90 days but since my fiancé was still recovering from an illness at the time, Mia extended the time for us to schedule the photo shoot till January 28,2023.

On the day of the photo, Mia sent Nafas, to be our lead photographer to meet us at the designated area at the waterfront Park at 4 pm. Nafas was on time, friendly, encouraging and gave us specific instructions on where to stand, how to pose, where to look, etc. For somebody who has not done a photo shoot before, Nafas made it really easy for us to have a positive experience and have a good time throughout the photo shoot. I was expecting for her to take maybe 80 to 100 photos but she took about 200+ photos and before we parted ways after the photo shoot, Mia already sent us one hundred of the 200+ pictures in our phone for us to look in and review that night. You can’t beat that kind of customer service. Also, we get free touch ups on 5 pictures that we select.

I will definitely work with PK a photography again will recommend to my family and friends.
