The staff is always friendly, the inside is always clean and well stocked on the cleaning spray. Always feel comfortable and welcome.

Useful amenities. The black card always had the best membership privileges. Just wish the gym patrons during the day would be more cleaner.it’s not a 24/7 gym on the weekends but it’s cool & local tho. The only problem I have is this staff could be a little bit more respectful because there are many reasons why somebody can have a gym membership. Nobody is obligated to know exactly why if there’s no problem being caused.the only problem (s) are times where I feel very unwelcome walking in here and the soft-spoken gossip that’s clearly obvious! In an argument with a sensitive little white emo boy at the front desk over my membership being overdue. He said he doesn’t have the app so he didn’t know. I already knew about it, but give people a chance to pay for their membership instead of jumping down somebody’s throat smh. I kept my tone calm and was not yelling and was labeled as “hostile”. As a black woman I’m offended by that label. If that’s how you feel about all black women then that’s not the job for you. No one is going to talk super whisper, quiet, short, simple, and sweet… some of the people here need to learn to talk to different cultures in no way would I have any reason to disrespect or yell at anybody here especially with what they have to deal with already working here… Also, my other problem is with other genders is going inside the “women’s” restroom. I have nothing against any other genders or sexualities as I am female, bisexual woman, but there needs to be a third bathroom (considered) because me, and obviously a few other people have felt uncomfortable, and or confused. But I can only speak for myself. I miss the old workers like Kevin & Justice and an older black lady who works in the morning, when some of them used to work here they were a lot more friendlier in this place was much more welcoming, and cleaner, but I can’t complain. It’s affordable no than 24 hour fitness and there’s a bunch of branches that any black card member can go to.also, if there is not a threat to security of the gym, the security officers have NO business interacting or playing sides or threatening membership revocation when it comes to different issues with staff & others if politely addressed.it I’ll be more than happy to edit this review again once I’m satisfied…also hopefully the gym showers will be fixed soon… like somebody said in the comments, the staff IS a mixed bunch, but a little kindness goes along way & making other people regardless of their purpose for a gym membership feel respected and welcomed in your place of business because you never know if somebody’s dealing with. I shouldn’t have to walk in there with my head down) :

Great equipment, clean environment, and reasonably priced. Everything I was looking for in a gym.

Okay staff are a mixed bunch. Ever, the gentleman that gave my now deceased husband a USB charging plug should be nominated for employee of the decade. Thank you you never know what such a small act of kindness can do for others. You never know what someone else is going through.

Not too crowded and pleasant staff. It does get a bit hot and would be better if they had a better way to keep it cool.
Generally I'm a fan of the Planet Fitness model, so thumbs up!
(Not the operating hours - closes early on weekends!)

Had my wallet taken out of my backpack in my locker that had a lock that I had purchased from here. I know they are not responsible for the lost or stolen items but at least do an incident report or something to keep track and try to prevent it from happening! I mean they had time to break the combo lock somebody had to have seen something!

The workers go nuts with the lunk alarm, like seriously, the amount of times the employees set off the lunk alarm is more annoying than the "lunks" themselves

They are not open! They are never open when I go there the last 5 times. Does anyone know what's going on? I can't even cancel if I don't want to keep paying for it when I can't even use it.

Great gym for the price, good atmosphere and owners that care about the members and facility.

Love it. Great staff especially Daniel. Extremely helpful to me and my adult son. I like the Crowd meter. Plenty of machines and lots of space. Clean safe environment. Totally committed to my journey and membership.

Starting Wednesday 12/15, California has reinstated the indoor mask mandate (which was last in effect back in June.)
HOWEVER, San Francisco Department of Public Health said Tuesday the city will continue to allow those who are fully vaccinated to remove their masks in gyms and workplaces. So fyi, in Planet Fitness, it's policy, not law.

I agree that's it's better to be safe than sorry. But if Planet Fitness is going to enforce a mask mandate that makes it hard and uncomfortable (possibly unhealthy?) to breath when exercising heavily—whether state required or not—maybe they can also remove some of the many Treadmills and Stairmaster machines so they aren't literally pressed up against one another. Kinda weird as they space out all the other machines fairly well. Even without a pandemic, that's pretty annoying imho.

Breathing oxygen deeply is rather important when doing hard aerobic exercise. I don't know how other runners do it, but I need to breath fully when running on a treadmill. There's more than one way to be safe, some ways just require more effort than others.

I been a member for two years and this gym been a great place to exercise and just do your daily routine it’s a great facility attentive staff clean environment.

After signing up for a membership today With Marco. I ended up canceling a few minutes later because I wasn't vaccinated. FYI, I just moved to this county. Marco told me to call back a few hours later to make sure my membership was canceled. I called back got on the phone with Daniel he ended up hanging up on me after expressing my frustration about me having to come back into the office to cancel my membership when I was already there. It is so unprofessional to hang up on someone and will be reporting him to corporate. He has the ardacity to say that the phone call dropped.

Great, I had a good workout, even though I was winded, three weeks since u joined, but slowly but surely I'm getting there, love the place very clean

Gym kept closing and i was told not to come then charged for 4 mos without my knowledge. Now I receiving all the tactics to ensure i wont get refunded. 10 years with Planet Fitness all over California. Only bad experience. Still working on my refund. Im never using PF again
