My husband has been cancelling this account since 2020 and they always start randomly charging him again. He has called over and over again to cancel and they always say it’s cancelled and then he’s getting charged. We stopped using that card and he’s getting bounced check fees. Our bank is forcing fraud charges on anything from planet fitness now. Because it’s that it’s fraud. They’re scamming us when we live in a totally different country now. We have email proof saying it’s cancelled but still being charged.

Very clean and friendly environment. No loud overbearing gym rats here haha … my favorite is the light weight station w rx bars and kettlebells

They have no bench presses. No vertical smith machines, and dumbbells only go up to 70 lbs.definitely not a gym for anyone who lifts weights seriously.

I asked for a bed at 9: 44 pm and was told it was closed, some guy asked for it after I did and they gave it to him, how rude. New memeber here, bad experince already.

Visiting for a month as part of a business trip, our French group was extremely well received by a very accommodating team!
The equipment is of very good quality and allows all types of training, all at attractive prices.

Disappointed, I walked in, scanned my card and said: Good morning to the employees at front desk, No response.
No big deal. I begin my workout, but had a hard time finishing as many members sit on the equipment playing with their phones, I asked the employee at the desk when I left if they could do anything about it, she said: NO with an I DONT CARE ATTITUDE

Front desk personnel always eager to help and cheerfully greet everyone. They work hard to keep the Carlsbad facility clean.

These guys are scam artist! They won’t let you cancel your membership! They could have told me days ago! I can transfer my membership to the state I live in and then cancel! They expected me to come to the gym or send a letter via usps? USPS what is this 1990! I’ve called literally 200 times, no answer! I called the planet fitness in Colorado answered first ring! I’ve sent 4-5 emails no response! Those employees sit at the front desk all day picking their nose! They should have time to help members! I was a member for almost 2 years! If you sign up here! Beware! Make sure you transfer your membership! Because they will NOT allow you cancel! I also left a dozen voice messages without receiving a single call back!
This is the slowest least busy planet fitness I’ve ever been too! The fact y’all can’t answer your phone is mind blowing!

Shower rooms and changing rooms need air conditioning, especially during the hot summers, and hot water for the showers.

Good gym with several locations but others do too. They have affordable plans - 10/mo or 25/mo - which makes them stand out a little but you still pay to opt out of the "no commitment" contract. I just went for the massage chairs (25/mo) but there's nothing like the touch of human hands. You pay for what you get.

I request to shut you down indefinitely for torturing people or witnessing torture or not helping the Homeless.

Very friendly people, very clean gym, no real aerobic classes, light and airy with big windows in front.

I like this gym. I like the people who work here. They’re friendly and they seem to keep the place in good condition. I do wish they had a prone leg curl machine…but, they have everything else I need, and the price is so good!

The thing I don’t like is that some of the members who come in smell really bad…I mean they stink and the smell stinks up the entire locker room. Pew! They are usually just coming in to sleep in the dressing room or in the handicap shower. They aren’t showering (there’s no water running) and they are just laying down in there, sleeping…and stinking up the locker room. I wish PF had a rule that they could enforce to not allow smelly people into the gym or locker room.

Its a cool place to work out, and friendly place, been at this place for a while now the water beds and tanning rooms are great! Everyone in the front are also very helpful and kind!

This is the worst PF I’ve ever been to. This is a gym full of entitled old people with misplaced frustration. Working out is supposed to make you happy but these gymgoers act so miserable and passive-aggressive. Read a review that was upset a person who was homeless was there charging their phone. It’s very indicative of the energy of the gym. Daytime staff is what you expect of PF but the two older women who work overnight are very nasty, rude, and judgmental. It’s unprofessional and cringy at that age. Do better PF. I travel for work. I’ve been to PFs all over the country. I’ve never witnessed anything like the PF on El Camino in Carlsbad.
